Character Dining Minus Kids

Often your server or the character handler will offer... Other nearby tables will often jump in and offer to take photos of you together too if no one else is available.

Good! I hope we are seated by some friendly people. I would be happy to reciprocate, but I feel like adults with kids care less about being in the shot themselves...

We have had great adults only experiences at CM breakfast, TH breakfast, and CP breakfast.

We were on our honeymoon wearing "Just Married" buttons. Lots of parents instantly offered to take our picture and offered nice remarks or stories of thier own honeymoons/weddings at Disney. We often looked around for other couples and made deals with them - you take our photo we'll take yours, stuff like that. Really most people are there having fun and are very willing to help you do the same. :yay:

I love Ohana at breakfast. When my cousin and I did an adults only trip we had some great interactions with Stitch (if he is your cup of tea) and it was a little quieter than our breakfast at Tusker House (which was also solid.) CP is great too, but I'm a sucker for Pooh and his friends. For me 1900 Park Fare has been hit or miss (mostly miss,) but I've never done it with just adults, and my sister was always terrified of the mice which didn't help.

I've done Crystal Palace with my family a couple times for lunch for various birthdays and that is a fun one... I also did 1900PF with just my sister for her Birthday last spring and it was lovely as well

We did Tusker House, Crystal Palace, Akershus and CRT, and Tusker House was head and shoulders above the rest! All the others were good and we had no complaints, but we definitely got the best interaction at Tusker. Donald's second visit came when my DH was at the buffet and he sat down opposite me and blew kisses at me, then pretended to be embarrassed when hubby got back! :)

My DH and I did breakfast at Cape May this past November and had a blast.

DH and I love character meals! We don't have kids. Our favorite is Garden Grill - we always have the BEST time! Chip 'n Dale are our favorites and we always have great interactions with them. Also a big fan of CP - we are big Pooh fans as well. Honestly can't think of a time we have been underwhelmed. One time at Chef Mickeys we felt a bit rushed but it was CRAZY packed! Have fun!

My DH and I have only done adult trips and have done a few character meals. I have to say CP breakfast was my favourite! The character interactions were fun, and although it is louder than other places it seems because the tables are closer people are more willing to offer to take your photo! We've also done 1900 park fare breakfast and Chef Mickey dinner, and they were great, but as another poster mentioned Chef Mickey's felt rushed.

I've done character meals on both trips I've taken (and planning on doing more in December) and it's been me and my sister - both adults. I've had a great time at all of them but I think 1900 Park Fare was probably the best both times we had dinner there and breakfast.

I'm sure there'll be someone who'll offer to take pictures for you. When we were at breakfast at 1900 Park Fare last year the young woman at the table next to us was by herself. She asked me if I could take a picture for her the first time a character came around and I told her I'd also be happy to take the other pictures for her as well. The characters and character handlers would still make sure there was someone to take a picture for her when they came.

Another vote for Garden Grill, here! As two adults, we've been there a number of times, and Chip and Dale always rock! I will agree with the PP who stated that your own disposition can greatly affect your interactions. (Not always, mind you, but it can.....) If you really seem to be into it, the characters usually pick up on that, and amp up the fun. We've also had good experiences at Tusker House and CP.

I love that about Disney World! It's gotten to where I actively look for groups and couples taking pictures of each other so that I can offer to take their picture together.

I agree with everyone's experiences except CRT... It just seemed the princesses were uncomfortable/akward with just my DH and me... no little princesses with us. just a quick picture and they were off to the tables with kids. BTW: I have never seen a Disney restroom with so much glitter on the floor as the CRT restrooms!! :rainbow:
