Character Dining Buses -- Is 7:05am too early to get from WL to Contempo?

I'm nervous because I booked 7:05 breakfast at Chef Mickeys on the only day we'll be visiting the MK. We're staying at Wilderness Lodge and although info on this board says the buses run 30 minutes before the first seating, I've also read they don't start until 7am. I've also read the ferries start running at 6:45am, but I din't want to cut it too close. We will have a car but I would rather not drive because we are hoping to walk from the Contemporary to the MK after breakfast and I'd rather not have to return the car to the lodge. Any good info please?

Not sure on the times - but there is a boat that goes between WL and CR.

I know we took it to get from CR to WL to go to WCC for dinner!

The 6:45 am boat is really your only option unless you want to take a cab. You really will not have a problem. Even if you are a few minutes late you will be seated in short order.

Oh, just remembered, there is also a direct bus to MK from WL that may start as early as 6:30 am. If the bus does arrive at 6:30 am or earlier then you could ask the driver if he has no other guests if they could drop you directly at CR, or you could walk to CR from MK.

If the bus hasn't shown by 6:35, then you have time to walk down to the boat dock and catch the 6:45 boat to CR.

The first bus from WL to MK is around 6:30-6:40, so you should be OK to take the bus and walk to the CR. The bus ride is less than 5 minutes.

We loved the boats at WL...actually, pretty much the only thing we loved at WL. But, that's another story.
As long as you are out on the dock, before 6:45, you should be fine. The boat ride to the CR takes well under 10 mins. We just always managed to get to the dock as the boat was pulling away..which made the trip longer.
Be out at the dock by 6:30. Yes, you will have a wait, but you will be sure to get to the CR on that first boat.
