Of course today is the day that Member Services is closed, so I'm turning to you experts to help me figure out the best thing to do.
We have a WDW trip planned for 9/22 - 9/24 (paying cash, staying at Port Orleans - Riverside).
We have a WDW trip planned for 10/6 - 10/8 using 42 DVC points, staying at Saratoga Springs.
Our Use Year is October. We have 78 points left for the Oct 2006 Use Year.
We are not going to be able to go on our October trip. Should we just CANCEL the reservation and have those points go into holding (we'll schedule another trip to use them)? Or should we (can we?) CHANGE the reservation to our Sept. travel dates (40 pts for OKW or Saratoga Springs for a studio which is what we need)? Then we would cancel our reservation at PO-R and get our deposit back.
Is there anything else I need to consider, assuming that there would be studio availability for the Sept weekend?
