Changing Pounds to Dollars in Orlando

Has anyone taken cash to Orlando and changed their pounds to dollars when there. When looking online at the foreign exchange counters in the mall, it would seem we would get much more for our money than changing in UK before departing, but not sure if I am missing something!? Thanks

When I have looked the rates have always been the same or worse than changing cash at home.

The best rate is usually but using a free free credit card as you get the interbank rate.

I would never bring foreign currency with me to America ! The exchange rate at any place in Orlando is horrid ! You can't go into a bank in America and just change currency like in Europe where banks are geared for foreign currency transactions. So you are left with changing money at Airport , outlet centres , theme parks , and tourist destinations where they will rip your heart out . Always change currency here and put money on CC . Hope you have a great trip !
