Changing FP+ to a different day

Apologies if this has been asked/answered before...tried searching and couldn't find the answer.

I currently have FP booked for the same number of days I have tickets for. I want to switch a day we planned to have as a hotel/pool day to a park day. I don't want to surrender my currently booked FP without knowing if I'll be able to book those same FP on a different day. If we can't, we'll likely just leave it. Is there a way to check availability? When I try to add fastpass, it tells me that we've reached our maximum # of days of fastpasses. When I click change next to the FP, it only looks for different time/experiences on that day. Can I change the group from one day to another and if so, how?

Here's how to check without Canceling nor losing your original FPs:

You don't have to Cancel when checking Availability, rebooking a new park or when you are hopping.

From the app:
~ tap the "+"
~ select guests
~ select date and new park
~ continue beyond any warnings
~ you won't lose anything if just checking availability. After checking, back out of the window and your original FPs remain.
~ when you confirm a FP for the new park, that's when any original FPs are replaced.

We don't have any days left on our tickets without FP booked, but we want to switch a day we currently have FP for to a pool day and vice versa.

Seems like this shouldn't be so difficult...

Sorry, I thought you were checking for a same day set up.

When you've maxed out your ticket allotment, the only way is to Cancel a day that would be easy to rebook.

I have 6 ticket entitlements to play with: which date, which park, and the number in your party? I can check for you.

Thank you so much, that's super sweet of you...looking to switch our Epcot day, and we have FEA booked on Aug 31st, would like to switch to the 30th to take advantage of EMH, and keep the 31st a pool day. Which is why I don't want to cancel first...my daughter might apply for emancipation if I lost that FEA FP!! I don't have a day that's easy to rebook. The only other day we have is MK with FP booked for mine train (it's a short trip). Don't want to risk losing either.

So really, if there is anything available for FEA on the evening of the 30th is what I'm wondering (we need 4). Snowballs chance I'm sure.

Soarin' and TT available but no FEA on the 30th.

Thank you so much for checking...i figured as much...have to decide now if we want to make the change and run the Frozen 5k or try tempting fate during illuminations or EMH.
