Changing cruise dates?

I know that you lose your deposit if you cancel your cruise but what happens if you change your dates? I know the info is here somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

You only lose your deposit if it is after a specific penalty date (usually but not always 75 days out). The same would apply if you change the date because you would still have to cancel the ressie and rebook for the new date.

you can move your ressie to another cruise date, so long as you do this prior to the penalty period, without losing the deposit.

I know this is true as I've done it (at least in a suite booking cat)...by changing the date you're not cancelling, your moving the resservation.

so did you move your ressie to another cruise date?

I have moved my cruise date online a couple of times....but I am way out from the 75 days. When you do it online it even shows you the price difference before you confirm the changes.
