CHANGES to Our SEGWAY Tour in October...

We made our SEGWAY Tour res for October 18th in May, after our last trip and our first SEGWAY tour in EPCOT. Got a message today from Disney World. We were advised there had been a change and we are now to meet at Guest Relations at 8:15 am, NOT at 8:45. They said nothing about a time that the tour will now end.

Anyone else get this message? I wonder when the time change will take effect? I presume we'll finish up now at 10:30 instead of 11:00. Anyone know any details?

Yes, we got the message today as well. We are also going on the tour October 18th. No mention of when it will end.

From another thread, a person who had taken the tour recently was told the time was changed because the tour had trouble starting at 9:00. People would get stuck behind the regular guests waiting to get into Epcot and would get to the tour meeting place late.

The tour needs to end at 11 when WS opens, so starting at 8:15, there would be more time to get everybody together.

I got a call for my Dec ressie...the ending time will be the same...but they were late getting started most days so the backed up the start time...

DH got a call today to change the time of his Nov. Segway tour. Glad I hadn't planned it as a surprise, because the CM asked for him when she called.

This change is imminent, if not already started. My tour is for July 10th - can't wait - and we have to be there at 8.15 as well.
