Changes to Dreams Unlimited packages?

I booked the 5+2 package through Dreams Unlimited. I then received the email notification and it works out to be cheaper if I book it room only.

Room only is cheaper for me because I usually buy an AP to use throughout the year; (travel to Fla. frequently for work) my AP has run out and I haven't renewed it because the 5+2 package comes with a pass.

When I called DU to see if they could try to get me the same room (AKL Std. Savannah) they tried and couldn't get me a std. savannah on my arrival night (already booked air so my dates aren't flexible). I kept calling and eventually got it.

I feel guily canceling on DU because they've been so helpful, but it's cheaper for me to do it room-only. Does anyone know if DU can call Disney and pick up this reservation?

It takes a few faxes but it can easily be done! Have a great time on your vacation!

You can transfer your new reservation to DU with no problem. I did that very thing in 2003 - had a room with code that I had made - transferred it to them. To make it even better, they were able to get me an even better discount on my reservation when another code came out.
