Change of Plans!

Well today I had to make a hard decision but one that I think is best for my family. We have altered are plans several times for the Disney portion of our trip home to FL from Germany. We thought we had finally decided on staying at WDW 17-26th @CSR. My Mother and Father who are divorced (not an issue) as well as MIL would be with us. Finally last night I gave my Mom the trip details and although she didn't say it I knew she was a little overwhelmed with being at WDW that long. My Mom has recently been diagnosed with ALS and although physically she is still "okay" the future has her emotionally exshausted. I know that she would have gone and not complained and I have always dreamed of spending Christmas with the Mouse, but I also realize that this may one of our last Christmas together as well as my siblings therefore I decided to change our plans, we will be heading back to Tampa the 21st after Dinner at Park Faire. I know we will have many more opportunites to stay at Disney for Christmas and but it seems this one should be in Tampa!

I will be posting what PS's I will be cancelling on the dinning board. Including Carriage Rides and CRT!

It's always hard and a little disappointing to change your plans but you are doing it for very good reasons. Enjoy the time with your family.

I am so sorry to hear about your plans and especially about your Mom and her diagnosis. Make the most of your short trip to the World and have a very special Christmas together. Being with family is what counts. Please take care.

I wanted to thank everyone for their kind words. We are going to make the most out our short trip and I am sure we will still have lots of Disney Magic.
