Change in Reservation with FPs Already Booked

Right now I have a 2-bedroom booked at SSR for our trip in June, but for the last 3 days I will only need a 1-bedroom. To save on points I was going to call and make this change but I am within my 60 days and FPs are already booked. I know all the things to do so that hopefully I can stay in the same room but I am wondering if I make this change and link/update the reservations on my MDE account will I lose the FPs I have booked for those 3 days?

Anyone have any experience with this?

Having a room onsite qualifies you to book at 60 days out however your FP's aren't actually connected to that room so it won't matter if you change.
