How much are the standard chair covers for reception chairs through Disney Floral? I was under the impression they are $8.50 a piece but i have seen them quoted as low as 4.50 a piece. Not sure what the difference is.

Thanks!

We were married November 2008 and ours were $8.50 each.

Depending on where your having your event, if you can use an outside vendor, BBJ Linen charges 4.50 total for chair cover and ribbon tied. :thumbsup2

Disney's lowest price for covers is $8.50 apiece. Their chair sashes start at $4.50.

Thanks! Must have been the chair sashes i was seeing. I am using ADH and i think it looks very nice with the covers so 8.50 it will be! Thanks for the help!

Definately go with the chair covers there. That is where my picture is from and the covers really made the whole room come together. I also used red napkins on our white tablecloths. I think they were either $1.00 or $2.00 each.

We used a red overlay on our table and the cake table (I can't remember how much they were).

Your reception was beautiful! I love seeing the pictures from it. I am definitely going to use the chair covers. Thanks for the help!

On the topic of chair covers, if I had chair covers and a sash at our ceremony and wanted them at our reception do i have to pay twice, once or a transport fee?

I had chair covers at my reception at the Whitehall Room and my do at Sago cay Point and we had to pay twice. Although, we went back to the Whitehall Room after the dp so they would've had to have been transported twice.

You pay for two sets of chair covers/sashes. There isn't time to grab all the chairs after the ceremony and transport them to the reception.

Makes you wonder if is it worth it for the covers for the ceremony (30 mins) or the reception (3-5 hours).

We did not use chair covers at our ceremony. We really did not want to spend the extra money and while they look great (especially lurkyloo's) we felt our location was beautiful enough not to use the covers. As we were outside at Epcot, we just had the black plastic chairs and I thought they looked great. As our colors were red, white and black they tied in.

Now, the rose petals were another story. They were what we wanted but we wanted them on the aisle - not just outlining it. Make sure you specify where you want the petals if you are using them.
