Hi all. I am coming from the UK for a 5 night/4 day stay in early August 2026. Wanted to do the parks in a leisurely way. We are rope drop people. We like to get there before opening, go back to the hotel for an afternoon break and then go back to the park for the evening. We want a nice affordable hotel. We are finding being walking distance to the parks is too expensive for the hotel type we want; I know there are plenty of options but we wanted a nice solid 4* with good reviews. We found the Hilton Buena Anaheim - just what we want. 4*, affordable, great reviews. AI suggests a 10 minute Uber to the park. Fine by us as long as it can work. Not sure of the traffic. All the apps say doable but would be good to get opinions on people who had been there. Thank you.

We stay down the street in the Toy Story parking lot area now. The JW Marriott is very close to there andi believe is at least a 4 star. We stay back and forth at the Homewood Suites and the Hampton Inn, both are right by entrances to the Toy Story lot, it takes less than 8 minutes from the hotel to the security line each time we walk it. Hotel Lulu is also very close. It's super easy to just take the free shuttle over to the parks from this area. Plus if you go before noon you go through security at the lot instead of over on Harbor.
