Chai Tea Latte?

Does anyone know if Disney has a specialty coffee/tea stand that sells Chai Tea Lattes? They are my favorite and I don't think I can go without one for a week!!!

I think I remember seeing them on the menu at a fairly new tea stand in the Asia section of AK. I've never been there, nor have I had the Chai tea latte, but I'd love to hear reviews.

You can buy the mix and do it yourself in your hotel room - I am going to fix myself one in a few minutes, matter of fact! Tazo brand, found in grocery stores, it's just like the one at Starbucks. Mix with milk and microwave until hot. YUM. Takes exactly like it to me. And MUCH cheaper!

If you have a fridge in the room you can store milk and the mix in your room and microwave it down in the food court area yourself.

If nothing else, there is a "coffee place", (latte's, cappucino's etc.) at the Contemporary on the floor where you come in the main entrance. Look by the escalators going up. If you take the monorail, go down to the first floor using the escalator and it's right there. There is also a snack type shop in the middle of Future World at Epcot that sells latte's and cappucinos, I have no idea if either of these sells chai tea.

Tazo tastes exactly like Starbucks because Starbucks owns Tazo and the liquid chai you can buy in the grocery store is the very same product that Starbucks uses. Just add milk.

If you end up taking your own, Tastefully Simple has there brand in individual packets as well as canisters, might be easier for traveling! and it's yummy too!

There is a stand in Asia at the AK that sells it and other speciality coffees and teas.

One word of warning - they do not accept the WDW room cards for charging. Good thing we had cash with us that day. There was absolutely no signage saying that it was cash-only.

I asked the guy three times, just to make sure he wasn't confusing it with the dining plan and he again told me that they did not accept the room cards.

We either got a misinformed CM, or you'll need cash. Just a head's up to ask before you order, or get in line.

I didn't get chai from them--not sure why, I love chai.....perhaps I either missed it on the menu or got distracted because I was really trying to find an iced latte kind of thing (or iced chai) and I saw they had some sort of ice mocha thing and ordered it. It was so bad I threw it away after 2-3 drinks!! I don't think it even had coffee in it, just ice and chocolate syrup or something. Ugh. (and they weren't very magical folks who worked the booth either--kinda rude actually)

Maybe because when I walked off I made sure to warn everyone not to wait in line if they didn't have cash.

As an aside, when I was there, this stand wasn't listed as CS for the dining plan, or as a CS on the AK official map. It must be new. Maybe too new to have the computer capability to accept the cards.

I just took it as a language barrier, but yes, I noticed that they were rude too.
