just want to share our recent dining experience at the following locations during our recent trip 7/28-8/2:
Disclaimer: we are from North NJ and are 30 minute away from NYC. We are blessed with a wide variety of good food back home.
Morimoto Asia: it was a quick meal! It only took us 35 minutes from start to finish. My kids love the origami activity. Our waiter was Steve. He was nice but did something which I thought was kinda strange. My DH ordered the spicy pork ramen. But he was served with a regular pork ramen. DH didn’t bother to change it since it was not bad. A minute after the ramen was served, Steve came to our table asking if we wanted chilly sauce. He also acknowledged that DH ordered the spicy one but since we shared our food with kids, he thought it might be better to serve us the regular version with chilly sauce on the side..... I appreciate his thoughtfulness but find it kinda strange.... We ordered the pork bao, buribap, and some sushi. They were all good.
Landscape of Flavor at AOA: we stayed at Pop but we went to AOA for dinner one night for better variety of food. We got the make your own salad, curry chicken with rice and fish with rice. Taste wise... it’s not bad...
California Grill: We got two sushi, two appetizers and two entre (sea bass and pork). Food was delicious. Service was good. But it would be a one time deal for me.
Satuli Canteen at AK: it’s deiniftely a great QS, probably the best, on WDW property. We got the beef rice bowl, cheeseburger bao and tofu salad. Love the food and love the price tag. Love the seating area.
Skipper Cantenn at MK: love the humor jokes told by our waiter. The place was so empty though. We ordered charsui pork, spicy Thai noodle, noodle salad, tempura shrimp app. The sauce for charsui was too sweet for us. Thai noodle was indeed spicy. Enjoy the tempura shrimp and the noodle salad. The meal took us only 45 minutes from arrival to end.
50’s Prime time at DHS: we were walk-in at 11:30am. We only waited for 20 minutes for our table. Our server was Uncle Tim. He told some jokes at the beginning but that was it. He didn’t put on too much of the act with other tables he waited. But I did see other waiters acting all out. Food was good. We had Caesar salad, fried chicken and pot pie.
That’s it folks!!!
