Since we are on the topic of TomKat--Did anyone else hear that she now prefers to be called "Kate"? Maybe this is old news, but Tom, the control freak, has been quoted saying...........


While Katie was still pregnant with Suri, Tom said, "Katie is a young girl's name. Her name is Kate now – she's a child-bearing woman." It is said that Kate decided this after discussing it over with Tom, and that all friends and family now call her Kate.

EEk! He's a freak. It's also sad that her parents haven't seen the baby if that is true. I also agree the picture is staged. The leaking issue is of great concern the first few weeks. I guess she could have pumped milk but you would still need to button up. I think the baby is only getting some of Ron's special homemade vitamin formula. I hope it has vitamin D since it appears the baby has never seen sunlight. It's all very strange. Seems like there are a few stars that didn't release any baby pictures. Julia Roberts come to mind...does anyone remember? I think the first picture will be a baby wrapped in a blanket with a "fringe on the top"

I agree the whole thing is very suspicious. It makes no sense to wear a nursing bra if your baby isn't with you to be nursed.

However, why hasn't the media investigated whether or not these people actually had a baby? Couldn't they get into public records and see if a birth certificate was filed?

GOOD question!! Can't we find that out here online??? I was thinking we couild pull up public records like that...but of course I don't have a clue where to start....
And around here all the nwespapers put the little blimp in them about babies being born - you don't have to submit it - guess that could be looked into too...

I'm a nursing mom & there is no way I'd be away from baby - especially since babies are fed every 2-3hrs in the beginning.

If baby is formula fed - then she would have to be wearing a sports bra w/cabbage leaves to dry herself up --NOT a bursing bra & silky top.

AND even when I've had to go 4+ weeks of waking my baby up every 2 hrs I don't look THAT bad...certainly not that different - I didn't even know that was her....
CRAZY...

I pretty much had forgotten about them & the baby or lack of...but in the beginning I told dh that TC just got her pregnant so he could fight for the custody of the baby & he's @ least have his own child 'cause she probably wouldn't fight him.

Would love to know something about her parents - why aren't they in the press talking about not seeing the baby - since I read were her dad didn't approve of TC anyway - you'd think he'd make a stink & a bad name for TC - KWIM??

I will say...(not having all the details) but they did get their PRE-NUP in order very recently.

I think Kate (as she is now known as) will get something like 33 million a year
if Tom and Kate divorce within 11 years!!!!

Anyone else see that....do I have it correct. BUT I will say watching that on like Entertainment Tonight or one of those Hollywood shows...they NEVER mentioned the baby at all.

Katie Holmes' lawyer father has reportedly drafted a lucrative pre-nuptial agreement that could see the actress receive $4 million a year from Tom Cruise if the couple should divorce.

The deal, worth $44 million in total, will also see Holmes snatch a California home if their marriage breaks down.

And if the couple's marriage lasts more than 11 years, the former "Dawson's Creek" star is entitled to half of Cruise's huge fortune under California's property laws.

Holmes, 27, and Cruise, 43, are expected to tie the knot next month, Life & Style Weekly reports.

Wasn't this speculated on as to the reason Tom Cruise suddenly filed for divorce from Nicole right before their anniversary?

Low sperm count doesn't mean no sperm count though. My sil's brother and his wife were unable to have children... yep low sperm count. But out of the woodwork came an old girlfriend with HIS son. DNA testing confirmed it. So even guys with a low count CAN father children.... it's just not as easy.

I think they are waiting to unveil the child at the most opportune moment for him financially. I feel badly for her parents.

I didn't used to like Angelina.... but I love how she used the $$ for her baby's first pics for charity. How is it possible to be BOTH classy and trashy at the same time? Maybe just getting rid of Billy Bob did it for her.

All I can say to the nursing bra photo op is OWWWWW! If I went more than three feet with an unhooked nursing bra, I'd be hurting!

Right! OWWWW! is completly right. I needed mine secure and contained DURING pregnancy, let alone after - when I was nursing.

Plus, as another poster mentioned, I thought they didnt breast-feed?!??!

I dunno - I kinda feel sorry for her. She looks worn down and rough. And Tom Cruise's antic's the past few years, especially regarding Katie, have been -odd, and frightning.

Tom specifically said at the European premire of MI:3 a few days after the baby was born that she was breastfeeding.

I think the celebrity mags and shows aren't talking about it because Tom is notoriously lawsuit happy. I guess he has some attack dog lawyers that send out threats whenever there is anything he doesn't like. There is the longstanding 'gay' rumor about him in Hollywood. He has sued several men over the years who have claimed to have had a relationships with him. I'm sure there are court documents available. I think the mags and celebrity shows are just to scared to bring up the issue because he'll sue them.

I don't like how she doesn't say anything in interviews. Even about the baby. I remember being a young new mother and all I wanted to talk about was the baby.

Hopefully, Katie's parents have seen the baby. I know during an MI:3 interview Tom said they hadn't but hopefully they will come to California soon.

I'm sure a baby will be trotted out when he needs to promote something. I wonder if someday, it'll all come out. Like after Rock Hudson died all this stuff came out.
