I just saw Marlee holding a cellphone. I just realized that with text messaging and web ability to access emails, the deaf do not really need to have specialized phones anymore, as along as the person contacting them knows to email or text.

I love that Marlee's interpreter was crying, too.

This is what they should always do. It's not fair to the losing PM that (s)he raises so much money, and people in his Rolodex step forward and that money goes to a charity (as well deserved as it might be,) that they didn't originally donate to. Or that the PM could go home empty handed after all that work, by being fired during a different task.

I actually agree with Marlee. If they hadn't done a deal, someone on that team would have had to be fired anyway. Other than the money part of the deal, it's business as usual.

It means one less opponent down the road. She doesn't want to be up against that person 4 weeks from now because she didn't get rid of them this week.
