Is there celebrities on Disney Cruises very often? I have noticed a few people have said they have seen some. Just wondering

Rena Sofer (General Hospital/Blind Justice) was on the 4/23 Western cruise. Someone on another thread said that Joey Fatone of NSYNC is on the current Repo cruise

I have seen several, but the biggest would be Mickey Mouse, Mini Mouse, Goofy, Pluto and Donald :rotfl2:

There was a "celebrity" on our 12-27-003 NYE cruise, I saw several mentions of it here on the board, but we were unaware of her being on board the ship when we were there. I can't remember her name, but she was an TV actress that I wasn't familiar with. (Sad eh, since my screen name is TVGUY :confused3 )

My wife and I first cruised in the 80's on NCL's Norway. That ship specialized in "name" entertainers performing on board. And more than one "name" entertainer per cruise. We saw Jack Jones, Norm Crosby, Shields & Yarnell, and the Fifth Dimension perform on board, and they all just hung out with the rest of us the rest of the week on board. I played a pickup game of basketball with the Fifth Dimension. They also had a "sports" star on every cruise, one cruise it was Moses Malone, the next it was some NFL player named Nixon (don't recall his first name or team)

In July of 2002, on the 7 day Western cruise, we had Joe Namath and one of the Smother's brothers on board (I forget which one). :flower:

Paige, the FORMER hostesss of Trading Spaces was on our December 2003 cruise. She did a stand up presentation and Q & A. Her husband, Patrick was with her of course. At that time he was preforming as Scar in The Lion King and he did a presentation, Q & A, and together he and Paige did an autograph session.

Patrick is currently preforming in Julius Caesar on Broadway and Paige will be preforming in the traveling company of The Sound Of Music later this month and in June.

We saw them all over the ship and they couldn't have been any nicer to us.
Paige even came over and talked to us, in Palo, the last night of the cruise.

Phyllis

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown were onboard a few years ago.

Also The Carter Family (as in Backstreet boy Nick Carter) were onboard the Wonder a year or two ago.

There were a few threads pertaining to this topic a few months back....do a search and you may find the thread...it was pretty long and listed a whole bunch of celebs that were onboard at various times!

The day we were getting off the cast and crew from According to Jim (Jim Belushi, Courtney Thorne-Smith, etc) were getting on to film a two part show. That was January 2004.

We went on Christmas cruise and there may have been others however Disney made some sort of deal with Cristy Carlson Romano and she did a concert and also an autograph session.

My DD met Christy Carlson Romano at their sorority conference in Orlando last year.....Christy is a member of the same sorority and made an appearance and spoke at the conference. DD said she was very nice.
