Celebrations Galore & Free Dining too! A Sept 2012 PTR (TR started!)

Only 19 more days!!! So exciting!!! This also means that I need to get moving on those outfit pics. They're coming soon, I PROMISE! Anyways...I just got a big box from the Disney Store today and I wanted to share my pics.

Can you guess who the kiddos are going to be for MNSSHP?? JESSIE AND WOODY!! After much thought and deliberation, this is what we finally decided on. My mom is going to be making the rest of their costumes. I bought a plain white t-shirt for Madison and a little bit of yellow fabric. My mom is going to turn her shirt into Jessie's shirt. I also bought some red glittery paint so we can add the little designs that Jessie has on her shirt too. Then, I bought some cow print fabric and my mom is going to make her a skirt. I know, Jessie doesn't wear a skirt, but the skirt will be much cooler than pants and chaps! We won't be using the red braid....Madison's hair is long enough! I'll just braid it and add a yellow ribbon.

I finally bought a plain yellow t-shirt for Cole online that we will turn into Woody's shirt. We'll use that same cow print fabric to make his vest and I bought a sheriff badge at Party City that we'll sew on as well. I don't need Cole pulling the pin off his shirt! The Woody hat is a bit big, but I just want to be able to snap a picture of him in it. He'll wear a pair of denim shorts and that's all there is to his costume. He can wear jeans for Halloween (since it's so cold here usually by then) and we'll put a long sleeve onesie under his shirt.

Tony and I decided to just buy Disney Halloween t-shirts to wear to MNSSHP:

It's a bit big and it's definately pretty dull. I do like it though! I just wish it was a little shorter and a different color.

I honestly can't believe Tony agreed to wear this shirt! It's very busy and he is a plain shirt kind of guy. He's not into graphic tees unless they have a sports emblem on them. I'm pretty pumped about this shirt because it glows in the dark!!!

The last thing I bought from the Disney Store is this shirt:

So cute! I think I'm going to wear this to Chef Mickey's. I had to add something to our order to get free shipping so this was it. It was on sale and I'm so happy I found it.

I am really starting to stress. There is so much going on between now and our trip. School starts, dance starts, I'm running a 5K, I'm setting up a table for my TA job at a big shopping event, Cole has his 15 month check up, my dad's birthday, a dance clinic for my former dance team and possibly an Irish dance competition. AHHHH!!! I know that being busy will help the time pass, but I don't want to lose my mind and be exhausted for our vacation!

I think their costumes will work out great. It's just SO hot and I want them to be comfortable.

We are going to the party on the 21st. I'm not thrilled with going to a Friday night party because I've heard they're busier, but it was either Friday or our arrival day. I knew we'd be too tired that day, so Friday it was!

We did peek into the dance party with Woody and the gang on our last trip, but Madison did not want to hang out there. She tries to act like she's not into that kind of stuff anymore, but maybe she'll be different with her little brother there.

It is a very busy shirt! I'm surprised Tony said I could buy it for him. He'll do anything for his kids!

It does run a bit big....not so much in the width, but in the length. I bought a small and it covers most of my shorts. I'll have to wear it a bit bunched up.

Where in the world will you fit those hats when you pack? I guess you can fill up the head part with socks or something!

The ideas for the kids' costumes sound great! I don't have a creative bone in my body, so I would never have thought of those. It's store bought costumes for us every year!

I could have her hem it...I need to try it on again. Trying to find shorts that go with that color shirt is hard. I'm such a lover of colorful things...this shirt is kind of dragging me down.

I love that tank! The fabric is so comfortable and lightweight.

Hahaha....we're bringing 4 suitcases so it shouldn't be a problem. Tony & Madison always share a suitcase, I get one to myself but I through the toiletries in there too and the 3rd is always snacks, ponchos etc. The 4th one on this trip will be Cole's, but his clothes take up hardly any space. We shouldn't have a problem with the hats. Fingers crossed! I will need to wrap the Jessie hat in a plastic bag though. It's covered in sparkles and they get EVERYWHERE! I think Madison still has some on her forehead from trying it on yesterday.

Thank you! I originally just wanted to buy them the shirts from the Disney Store that look like Jessie and Woody. Well, they don't sell the Jessie one anymore and the Woody one only comes in "big boy" sizes. So, this was the next best thing! I had a lot of help from my mom coming up with the idea.

It is going to be a busy couple of weeks for us for sure!

Thank you! I don't think I'm that creative.....I mostly talk to my mom about ideas in my head and she just runs with it.

I love being busy, but I need some downtime too. I don't know what I'm going to do when Madison starts school next week! She is so helpful with Cole!

I would have loved to have us both dress up, but I didn't want to walk around the park for 3 hours pre-party all dressed up. I'd feel kind of weird.

The shirt is thin, but not see through. The fabric is very light weight and so comfy.

I have been a shopping machine! I feel so guilty every time I have to spend money lately, but I've been spending it on things we truly need for the trip (like our stroller rental). I need to stop though!

Lately I've been napping with Cole. I just can't get my brain to shut down at night so I'm exhausted everyday!

I had a wonderful time on my weekend trip. Lots of learning but lots of fun too! I can't wait to do it again!

I'm just waiting on my yellow shirts I ordered from Amazon. I'll probably check the tracking number today to see if they shipped.

I LOVE that striped red Minnie shirt you got - it's so adorable. I much prefer tank tops to t-shirts in the park when it's hot (I can't even deal with crew neck shirts, it makes me freak out). I looked on the Disney store website and can never find any that I like, but that one is so cute!

Thanks! I really, really like it. Tank tops are a MUST when going to WDW for me. The only time I wore t-shirts was on my January trip. It wasn't humid at all, so t-shirts worked. I wore a t-shirt to MNSSHP last time and it was fine. Once the sun goes down I can handle the t-shirt.

I can't even believe that it's September already.....that means that Cole will be 15 months old tomorrow. Seriously, where has the time gone?! This is our last weekend before school starts for Madison and we ran out to get her some shoes today.

I could have taken pictures of everything, but I'm in no mood to deal wth Photobucket right now. The website has been making me nuts lately!

We then made a stop at Target...of course. I needed a few things from there, but nothing for the trip. Except for some travel sized baby lotion for Cole. I always put lotion on him after his bath and last night I realized I didn't have any to bring with us! My gift cards from the Disney Store came today...one for a door prize at a shopping event I'm setting up at and one for Madison's spending money. I also printed out our new window decorations. I really was debating doing this again, but my family really wanted to. I saved everything from our last trips, but I needed to get stuff made with Cole's name. I also had a lovely DISigner make us a stroller sign too. I love it!

I'm currently uploading music from my IllumiNations and 4 Park One World cds. Gotta get the Disney music on our ipods!!! I don't even know if I'll be able to listen to my music on the plane. I'm sure I'll have my hands full with Cole! If he does manage to take a nap on the plane, then I'll be able to read and listen to some tunes.

No, I have not finished my outfit planning yet. I really want to get it done this weekend. I feel so far behind! I went through my last PTR and I'm nowhere near where I should be at this moment. Yikes!
