celebrating my 40th at the World

March 13
Day 6

We will most likely sleep in. ( I may do some laundry again) If Claire wants to swim, we'll do that. The noff to MK. We'll do just want we want and try to get in any rides we have missed, but wanted to do. Spectro plays again this night, but if we have seen it Sun, then we may try to hit some good rides at this time. We'll play it by ear. We have Crystal Palace ADR's at 4:05. I'm assuming those are the first ones for dinner. So it shouldn't take too long to eat and all, and see the characters (as long as they come out right away).
:wizard:
As much as I hate it, this is our last day and we'll have to be up at the crack of dawn to go to the airport on Sat. I think we'll have to leave like 5:30 AM to get to the airport. I am going to try and just kind of put clothes on Claire while she sleeps. LOL! Hopefully she'll sleep on the plane too.
HOPEFULLY she has gone the whole week without getting sick as well.

I will also have to be pretty much packed Friday. I'll jsut keep out what we need in the AM and then quickly jam them back in the suitcases. I think if we get up at 5 and jsut do the basic needs of dressing, we should be good to go. The hardest will be getting Claire ready. Maybe the night before we'll put most of the suitcases in the car so we won't have to do that in the early wee hours.
I know I will be hungry too, and I don't think Pop's food court opens till 6, so we may have to stop at Mickey D's and get some grub.

So those are my basic plans. Of course how likely am I to stay on track! I really am trying to tame it down, and not be on the go, but I don't want to miss anything, and I also know that Claire needs down time. It's so hard to do! LOL!

Today I decide to make envelopes for mousekeeping. I have never done that before. I just left the tip out with a note, but I thought it would be fun this year. They are cute.
I still need to finish making magnets though.
I'm trying to personalize them a bit so no one steals them!

On weeks!! Yeah!
Next week at this tme we'll be leaving for the airport (with the time change). :cool1:

How cool!
Did you request any section at Pop? I am hoping for 1st floor, 60's poolside. We had that last year and loved it. The only down to it was everytime we walked out of the room the pool was there and DD wanted to swim....ALL THE TIME! :rolleyes1

I am thinking that on Friday may be the only time to see the new afternoon parade, so I might try to get a sopt where we can catch it early in route and then head over to CP.

I made the mistake of saying something to Claire about DH wanting to take the land behind the scenes tour. UGH! :sad2: She cried that he would do something without her. So she may be going on that tour with DH too. LOL! (that really excited DH that she wanted to go with him, of course) I really don't want to, but we'll see how things are, maybe I'll come along too. Or just spend an hour or so to myself. I guess I could go see the characters by myself then. LOL! :rolleyes1

I also then mentioned how I read that kids can sometimes release ladybugs in that tour. Boy I need to shut my mouth. I accidently said butterflies at first, then said, no I mean ladybugs. Well DD started crying again, because she wants to take butterflies home! :scared: Last summer we had a kit where you sent away for catapillers and then once they turned into butterflies you released them outside. Well she thinks that is what it is.

Next week at this time is our ADR for CRT! (actually it will be one hour earlier than now since the time changes) I am so excited.
I think I have all our magnets made. Might do some more, but I know we have enough. Need to finish packing, but most is just stuff I will do next Sat, so it doesn't get wrinkled between now and then. :dance3:
But for the most part I could leave in 10 mintues if I needed to. LOL!

We're requesting 60's building, 2nd, 3rd or 4th floor - maybe we'll spot each other! We're planning to fax our request tomorrow, fingers crossed! FTR, I have red hair, my husband is blonde (and has an English accent) and my 3.5 year old has long light brown hair. I'll keep an eye out for you guys! :)

I'm going to fax Wed. LOL! Can't wait.
I'm the one with two tone hair! LOL! I forget about it all the time, but I have alot of people comment on liking it (usually young girls) and I am so used to it, I think of it as normal, but I guess it's not to everyone. :thumbsup2

I am so ready! I went shopping today to get some basic household stuff. I forgot to get more gas-x to bring along. LOL! I did find the travel size of the Downy wrinkle releaser, and got some antibacterial wipes to bring along.
I don't know if I mentioned this (I think I did) but DD liked a pole on the bus last year, so if she pulls that stunt again this year, her tongue is getting scrubbed with one of these wipes! LOL!
Also need to get more gum, since WDW doesn't sell it. I couldn't find my flaover at 2 stores. So sometime this week, I'll have to look for it.

I just discovered this report and got all caught up! Only 5 days - how exciting. Sounds like you have a great trip planned. My DD did Club Libby Lu for her birthday and loved it also - too bad they closed :sad2: She can't wait to get back to BBB in October. She also has the Alice dress (from Ms. B ;) ) it is so cute! I can't wait to read your trip report :thumbsup2

I'm debating on taking Claire to It's tuff to be a bug. I worry it might be a bit scary for her. DH and I did it last year (seperately) and I enjoyed it, but not sure if it would spook her or not. When she was 2 she loved Haunted Mansion, but last year she was apprehensive about it. Not sure if we'll get her on it this year. LOL!

Tuff to be a Bug has a stink bug named Claire though. LOL! :lmao:

My parents just went, and my dad keeps calling Claire a stinkbug. :lovestruc

My younger kids hate this show. We havent done it in the last two trips as we were always taking someone out the side door during the show. Maybe your DD will like it, but ours never had- lots of tears around the 4-6 age, just not wanting to go from 7-9. The FOLK is THE BEST!! We never miss this show. It is so professionally done. We caught Nemo for the first time on our trip last Jan. and am excited to see it again. (last time I was juggling a nursing 3 1/2 mo old during the show and didnt get to concentrate on the whole show)
Only 4 more days for us-----5 for you!!!! I cant believe it. I feel like I have so much to do still and my 1 yr old has been running a fever:sick: for the past 3 days:scared1:
Im hoping that will be gone later today. Took her to the doc yesterday and they said it was just a virus- not strep as I was afraid (she has had it twice already)

Have a great trip!!

:cool1: :cool1: :thumbsup2    :yay: :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

Yay 3 Days!

I faxed my room request last night. Actually twice. LOL! My moms fax machine/printer wasn't working right, so we kept trying over and over and it would say not sent or error. It was also out of ink, so we couldn't get a print out to confirm the sent fax. So my mom sent my son to the store to get ink, and then we printed out the log of faxes and it showed going through twice. I hope they don't think I'm an idiot! LOL! :goodvibes

I have everything packed. Got it done this morning while Claire is at preschool. I just have to throw in my hairdryer and medications before we leave.
Now I need to get off my butt and exercise. I still have 12 1/2 miles to walk in the next 3 days! :rolleyes1

Just popping in to say hello. We leave in the morning, but flying out of Detroit (yuck). I think we are pretty much ready to go. I didnt need to pack any pretty princess dresses.

Weather looks great. I will say hi if we cross pathes.

I would rather fly out of Detroit and use ME, but all will be good, just the same. We won't have to get up early at all to go the airport at least.
I can hardly wait now. :wizard:

Just wanted to wish you a GREAT trip Jen! If you see us, definitely say hi! And we'll do the same. :)
