celebrating my 40th at the World

Hey there:wave2:
We have been pm'ing each other about the crazy park hours and I just noticed your pre trip report. Thought I would read through since I am too lazy to do one myself. Im just hoping to get a trip report done when we get back.
Your little Claire is so cute. I love all the pretty dresses you have for her. I am taking my DD1's Tinkerbell costume that she wore at Halloween and my DD9 is taking her Minnie and Belle ones. I have an Alice costume for DD1 for next Halloween. It is too big for her now:sad1:
I love the old pictures you posted. I grew up in Winter Park, FL and we used to go lots when I was young. I have some of those same pictures!!
Anyway, just wanted to say hello again and its almost time for us to be there. 11 days for me and 12 for you!! It will be here before we know it!!

Glad you found it. I knwo all this crazy hour stuff drove me mad. Hopefully it is settled now. I can't wait. It is getting close!

Glad to hear you're feeling better!

Congrats on getting an ADR for CRT -- how exciting!!! Can't believe you leave in just 11 days!!!!

I swear I am the only person who gets sick and gains like 3 lbs! Still having a bit of a queasy stomach yet though. But much better. But I can't eat "my diet" as I'm too afraid too yet. So I don't think I'm gonna be losing that weight before trip time.
I did finally exercise today though! yay! Claire had dance class this afternoon, so I wil ltry to walk the treadmill when we get back for some more exercise and get back to my daily routines.

Wow that is great! So tell us more about your plans. don't forget pictures a lot of pictures.

What plans do you want to know about? I have all day! LOL! I can go on for hours! :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: Well I just came back from disney and I would like to hear what you are doing to get more experience:worship: I just love disney  and I'm thinking on a second trip.

Except when I think back on disney it's all a blurr I think I'm just looking for an excuse to go back:rolleyes1

Hi Jen,
Glad your feeling better. I love all those letters you made for Claire :goodvibes, very cute! Congrats on getting CRT for dinner. For spring ahead I always just turn the clock back before bed, that is the easiest way. Maybe your DH should just start milking the cows 15 minutes earlier each day. He probably has thought of that already ;).

lizet313 , When did you get back? Where did you stay at? Do you have a trip report?

I'll try to give more details. Gotta work out and then take DD to school (had a fog delay today), then I'll think about what are plans are. We do go and do alot without planning when it comes to rides and stuff. Though we are going to try for bigger rides this year since DD is tall enough for some bigger things this year, and she keeps saying she wants to do Splash Mountain, but I don't really think she knows what it is. LOL!
Also "daddies ride" is one we need to do. That is test track. LOL! DH has rode it the last two years by himself while her and I walk around. She knows she's tall enough now though, so we may be in for a long wait for that one.

Hello! We will be in the World about the same time as you! I've enjoyed reading your PTR!

Is March 8th really teh end of Daylight savings? So while we're in WDW I'll have to remember about changing clocks and stuff? Yuck! I hate losing an hour on vacation! I feel jipped!! :rotfl:

I'm sorry to hear you have been sick. I relate. My throat hurts something awful. I can't tell if it's sick or allergies. I normally don't have allergies, but we are still newish to the area, and I hear that the allergies are really bad right now...tree pollen or something.

Congrats on CRT!!! I think everyone should dine in the castle at least once! We did lunch so I can't help you with what happens at dinner. I think I remember reading something about the FGM doing some sort of little show thing.:confused3 Sing a song maybe. I don't really know.

The time change is a rough one. I have no idea it was coming up so soon. I totally forgot about it. I don't like the spring one, the fall one is great!!

You are getting so close to your trip!! I'm excited for you!

And btw, I LOVE all the notes that you did for Claire. So cool.

Whoo-hooo! 10 days! :cheer2:

Congrats on Cinderella's Royal Table - I'm sure much fun will be had by all.

Oh, by the way...

10 Days!

It's actually the start of daylight savings, but yeah we lose an hour. For me, it's no big deal as it is our arrival day, so we'll be getting there sooner, but DD will lose an hour of sleep on an already busy day. The goal will be to try and get her to bed earlier the night before (yeah right  )
I do prefer that time though. I like that it stays lighter longer.

I stayed at SSR

I don't have a trip report maybe I'll start one I just don't know how or where to begin:confused3 I love reading the trip reports that are in Dis I can stay hours :surfweb: it is so fun and exciting. I would love to start one..

Thanks for sharing your information with us popcorn:: Can't wait to read more.

Ok, I'll try to sum up some of the "plans".

Sunday March 8

Our flight leaves at 11:40. My parents took this exact flight (same airline, etc) on Feb 8. Boarding started by 11:15, so I know we got to be there and ready. We live literally a max of 15 minutes away and this airport is NOT busy in anyway shape or form...so I am planning on leaving the house by 9:30. (my mom or dad is going to drop us off)
Are flight should arrive in Sanford by 2. My parents said theirs was actually a bit early, which I find most flights that I have been on and take off on time, tend to be. We'll get our luggage, and get our rental. I'll probably send DH for the car while I round up the bags.
Last time wwe flew into Sanford we got the bags and then he and DD went to get the car and they seemed to take FOREVER! I am very impatient, so if he gets a start at it, I won't be so bad! Hopefully! LOL!
It's an hours drive to Pop. Last time there was construction and we got detoured and lost a bit, so hopefully this time it will run smoother. I'm almost tempted to have AAA do a trip tix thing for us, just to be sure there is no construction this time around.

So the plan is to get checked in, and go settle in our room quicky. Hopefully our request will be met.

Then I think I'll make a stop at the gift shop and get an autograph book for DD. last year, upon arriving at MK, we met several meet and greets, and got pictures, but hadn't gotten a book yet, so missed out on that fun. I may buy my refillable mug then too and fill up for the park.

Then off to MK!
I am guessing we will be hungry at that point. So we either may get a snack upon arrival or get a CS and share it between the 3 of us. I am hoping to be at MK by 5. Spectro is at 8, so we may try to do a few things before that 9depending on wait times and how crowded it is) and then find a spot for Spectro, most likely a hour prior. We got a spot on Mainstreet last year, and I loved it, but we'll see. I have seen it from many different spots over the years.
After Spectro, I think we'll make our way to Fantastyland. now crowds are awful usually after Spectro and near the castle, so this may take some time. If we can, we might ride teacups (well I'll skip that one) and or Pooh. We will probably hang around the back side of the Castel for Wishes so we are close to it for our ADR time of 9:35 for CRT. Hopefully it doesn't run too far behind.
After CRT, I am hoping the parks have cleared alot. I know in the past 2 years, they really do after Wishes, and we have really enjoyed the EMH's. My guess is we'll try to head back to BTMR and SM and see how the lines for them are, since DD is such a big girl now. But the goal for this night will to be to try and ride as much as we can. Lines typically are shorter, and it just has such a special feeling doing this all at night, especially on your first night there.
We'' stay as long as we can last, but I think we usually have stayed to 12 or 1 in the past 2 years.
Then back to Pop to wind down and try and get DD to sleep.
That can be a chore right there. She is so excited, and has a hard time winding down sometimes.
So that is my plan for day 1. :woohoo: We'll see how it ends up! :rolleyes1

March 9th..Day 2

My plan is to let DD sleep in. We have BBB scheduled at 1:30. So I think by 11 or so, I'll wake her and get her a bath and hair wash.. ..shewill also be waking up to her first "gift", which wil lbe her BBB outfit...
I will probably eat something earlier, while her (and most likely DH) sleep in. I can't sleep much while on vacation. If she is hungry we'll get her something, but we are also bring granola bars and snacks too, so if she just wants that, then thats fine too. I plan to be getting on the bus around noon to head over to MK again.
We'll get checked in for BBB and hang in the fantsayland area till it's our turn. DH can go off on his own if he wants during this time.

Hopefully BBB is running close to on time.

I haven't heard much about it lately, so not sure how on time they have been running.
The plan then is to head to Exposition Hall and get the photoshoot. Of course the parade will probably being going on at this time, so we may struggle to get up there. If we get done prior to or during the parade, then we'll proably just watch it.
We have a 1900 park Fare at 4:40. I kind of wish I made this later, and am half tempted to see if they have a later seating, but then again, I doubt it this close. Maybe I'll check and see though. So for the 4:40 ADR, I want to be at the boat dock by 4:15ish. After we eat, we will head back to MK, and then do whatever we can till the park closes at 8. Basically this day isn;t going to get much done at the park. I think I may see if they have any later ADR's open, just in case. So we don't feel so rushed to get to 1900. Either way, if we come back to MK, we won't get much done either. Hmmmm! What to do. :confused3
If you have any thoughts.... I'd love to hear them on this idea.
As much as I hate this, I am guessing that when we get back to Pop, DD is going to want to jump in the pool, and there will go the $55 hairdo. LOL! Hoping to get to bed at a decent time thoug this night. 10 is the goal!

Well I called (and got immediately through) and 1900 Park Fare is completely booked that evening, so we'll stick with what we got!

I guess my other option would be to see iff BBB has any earlier openings, but when I made the appointment (several weeks ago when Mk was supposed to have EMH's that evening) I think it was booked from 12 till 1:30..and I don't want earlier than that, so DD can get her sleep.

Oops, I always get those times mixed up. I can only remember Spring Forward and Fall Back :)

We will be in the MK on the 8th and 9th as well. We have 8:20 ADR at CP on Monday. Maybe we'll see you??

Maybe! But Mk closes at 8 on Monday now. I assume it had later ADR's for when it was origionally a EMH night. So you won't miss out on anything! LOL!

Our day will be wasted, but yet we will still be doing fun stuff. I just don't expect any rides that day.

WOW that sounds exciting I didn't get to see much of spectro I saw the ending it was amazing I wish I would of seen it but I was busy eating :rotfl: enjoying my dining plan. That sounds like a very long and fun day.
I know the feeling I couldn't fall asleep either I had to take a nice warm bath with bubbles to relax me and after that I fell asleep quick:rotfl2:

BBB sounds exciting I don't have any kids so I can't experience it and my niece is only 7 months old she has no hair:confused3 :lmao: FP helps a lot if you want to do rides but it looks like you have a tight schedule. 10pm was my goal too there was a night after going to MK I stayed up til 1am just talking about the castle am a kid at heart you should of seen my face when I was infront of it. So impressed I wish I could move in the castle. (I'm such a kid:rotfl2: ) That will be a bummer pool after that great hairdo:rotfl: AVOID THE POOL AS MUCH AS YOU CAN lol

I am so excited for you!!
