celebrating my 40th at the World

I can't stop myself!!!!!!

I just ordered a whitechocolate Cinderella slipper dessert for Claire at our 1900 Park Fare dinner. I thought it would be special for her big BBB day. A little extra royal treatment, but in all honesty, I want to eat that sucker. LOL! :thumbsup2
Another exciting bit to look forward too!

How exciting! Did you call the cake hotline or did you call GF bakery directly?

I still want to do an anniversary cake for DH and I, but I haven't figured out the when and where of it all yet. Did you have to pay in advance?

That slipper dessert is so cute! Enjoy!

I called the cake hotline. They said we pay at the restaurant, but they took a credit card number to guarentee it.

day 3

So this day we plan to go to Hollywood Studios. We didn't go here in 2007 and last year this was the park DD got sick at, so I only spent a small time there before I took her back to the room. DH stayed, and then came back later. I returned to the park, but didn't do too much as I got stuck on Catastrophe Cayon ride. UGH! Last year we got up early to go because DD wanted to see Daisy so bad, and we were told she would be there, which she was!

I don't think she would've let us go home if she didn't see Daisy.
So depending on how early we are to bed, we'll see how early we get up (or I should say they, as I'll be up and most likely do some laundry this AM)
If she's gung ho on Daisy again, we'll try to get there early again. We will just try to do and see what we can. I would like to get a FP for ToysStory, but don't know how likely it will be. It will be there when we go back, so I'm not going to worry myself about HAVING to do it.
We'll see how the day goes, and if we finish early, we'll head back for a swim. We have Hoop Dee Doo at 7:15. If we don't finish up early, we'll just go from HS to FW and go to the show. Idealy, I would like to take a break, and I'm hoping it's a slower day, as no Fantasmic show this day, and EMH's are the night before.
After HDDR we will go back and get ready for bed. Of course if we don't swim in the AM or afternoon, DD will probably want a quick dip. Again a goal for bed is 10 PM. But it might be more like 11.

I am thinking of bringing a notepad this year and writing what we eat (in case I forget to take a picture) and kind of journeling the days a bit. I usually remember most stuff, but this trip is a day longer, and I want to remember it all for my trip report! :cool2:

We are going the same time and staying at pop. I loved looking at all your fab photos. I feal like your family now!

Day 4

This day will be busy, yet laid back too.

We have a Cape May character breakfast at 10:50. We will drive there with the rental, since the Beach Club is about 10 minutes by car from Pop. I am going to go a little early so hopefully we will be seated on time or even early. But who knows how that plan will go. LOL! :wizard:

Claire has the Wonderland Tea Party at 1:30. (We need to be there around 1ish though) So depending on how fast breakfast goes, we may drive over from there, or go back to the resort and catch the bus. Not sure if DH wants to tag along for it or just go back and relax.
I'm going to try and get alot of preparty pictures. And I will send a camera in with her, but most of her pictures have her thumb in them, so not counting on anything to decent, if any.
After the tea party we will head over to AK. Now I was origionally gonna skip this park altogether because DH just isn't a big fan of it, and we did go the last 2 years. But then I thought this would be a good day to do it. It has evening EMH's this day, so it may be busy, but there is only 2 things I really want to do. The Shows! We have yet to see eithr of the two big shows. So my plan is to try and see Nemo right away when we get there, and then Festival of the Lion King. Now we may do a few other things, and may watch the parade. Claire loves parades. I may also check out the character area too. I am hopiong to get a few character pics this year. So this will be leisurely and laid back. If we don't get both shows, it's not a big deal, but I would like to. :3dglasses
When we feel done, we will head back to Pop. We have a few options for the evening too. One would be just to relax and swim. And one would be to head over to FW and try the campfire and do marshmellows. There is a movie too, but I think we would leave when this started. The campfire is at 7, I beleive, so we have to be done with AK in time for that. I want to say we should be long gone by then, but you never know. We (meaning DH) may enjoy it and stay and do more.
I am hoping for an early night here too. We will most likely eat CS for dinner at either Pop or maybe I'll run over to DTD (if we don't do the campfire) and get Earl of Sandwiches. I don't have a DTD day planned this year, but I love those sandwiches, so I am trying to figure out how to get some! LOL! :scared:

We seem to be on the same schedule :)

We will also be at DHS on the 10th! But unfortunatly we are leaving that evening. So don't worry, your scary DIS stalker will be leaving you! :rotfl:

I hope I do get to see you. I will have my LGMH on my camera bag and stroller.

How exciting! We just got home Feb 10th :guilty:
I want to go back!!! AK is my favorite park by far. Have a wonderful time.
I bet the wonderland tea is going to be so cute.

I'll be the one dragging my DH and DD tyo hurry up and catch up to me! LOL!
I keep checking accuweather and it changes daily, but for the most part it should be a nice week. Of course most weather men can predict whats happening that very day, so how can they do a week or two out! :scared1:

What day are you arriving?

Day 5

This is Epcot day! Again we'll play it by ear on when DD gets up. DH wants to do the "behind the Seeds" tour at the land, so if Claire doesn't get up too early, I'll tell him to head over and get signed up and do it then if possible, and we'll meet up with him.
One thing we HAVE to do is "Daddy's ride", which is Test Track. I haven't rode this in over 10 years, (I think it was the year it opened actually) but DH rode this the last two trips while DD and I walked around. So I'm ready for it too. And Claire knows she is big enough to ride it, so she keeps talking about it. Hopefully we can get a FP for it. I just don't want to wait forever. LOL! :rolleyes1
I would also like to do the character meet thing. We got in line last year, but the line was long and it was going to run real close to our ADR, so we go out after 5 minutes. :wizard:
Also I would like to walk around World Showcase, since we skipped most of it last year. :dance3:
We have Akershus scheduled for 4:20. So that will be exciting for DD to see more Princesses. :bride: We have yet to stay for Illuminations with DH and DD, so maybe this year we will. I saw it years ago with my older two, but I'm sure it's a bit different now. We'll see how things go. DD may want to go back and swim instead.
I don't expect to be in bed early this night. So the goal will be 11. :sad2:

All your plans are so amazing I wish I could go again right now:lmao: but I have to be patient don't know that I can:rolleyes1

I didn't get to see much of Epcot my friend was not all that excited on walking it was the first park we did when we arrived. I think she was tired.:rotfl: I had energy I was bouncing of the wall and wanted more Disney:cool1: :dance3:

LOL my nephew does the same thing although at the beginning he thought he was taking pics of everything he saw but he had it backwards he took pics of himself:rotfl: So CUTE.
All the activities sound very good TAKE ME :rotfl2: AK id so fun I love the NEMO and LION KING show how amazing and I liked the It's tough to be a bug so unexpected I love all the 3D shows. Parades are nice although it was not my goal I think I saw them all when I went.

Look at my ticker everyone!

SINGLE DIGITS!! :

YEY only 9 days left. :woohoo: :cheer2:  I am so excited for you.:yay:

I'm debating on taking Claire to It's tuff to be a bug. I worry it might be a bit scary for her. DH and I did it last year (seperately) and I enjoyed it, but not sure if it would spook her or not. When she was 2 she loved Haunted Mansion, but last year she was apprehensive about it. Not sure if we'll get her on it this year. LOL!

Tuff to be a Bug has a stink bug named Claire though. LOL! :lmao:

My parents just went, and my dad keeps calling Claire a stinkbug. :lovestruc

LOL :lmao: Stink bug aww Yeah its true you want Claire to love:hug: Disney not hate it lol

I know you have alot to do:laundy: before the big day. I love the pics with Claire Daisy and Donald so adorable it kind of makes me want a baby aww and then I think am only 21 about to turn 22 in March 13 and I get a headache:headache: I still have lots I want to do before I settle down. :lmao:

Is the plane going to have enough space to hold all of those surprises you have for your baby. :rotfl: You can gladly send some surprises my way (houston):rotfl2: :rolleyes1 I won't say nothing.:rolleyes1

What about the other 3d shows the Mickey Phillermagic I love that one too. I really didn't think much of the Puppet show but it was still a nice experience.

YAY! Sincle Digits!!

All your plans look great! I love how you have just a few must see things to do and otherwise are just going to go hang out at Disney and have such a great time!

I would think you could get an FP for TT. It's one of DSs favs. I'm not sure why, but he just LOVES it. It's a MUST DO for him.

I LOVED FOTLK too! We haven't seen Nemo yet. It's a must do for me this trip. I am totally looking forward to it. I haven't done ITTBB, so I can't chime in on that one. DS has a THING about bugs, which is really funny considering how buggy humid Texas is! But he does and so we never even think about doing that one.:confused3

I'm getting all excited to see you on the flip side and hear all about your adventures!:goodvibes

Well I decided to make a challenge for myself today. I exercise daily, sometimes the treadmill, the exercise bike or various workout videos.
Well with all the walking coming up, I decided I better start doing mostly walking to get that stamina up (and so I don't end up with sore shins like I usually do ;) )
So my goal is to do 30 miles on the treadmill in the next 9 days. I will probably throw a video in here and there for strength or abs, but those don't count towards the goal. Also the bike doesn't count either.
So to start it out right , I just got done walking 4 miles. Wow, I don't do the treadmill for long periods usually. 40 minutes max most times, but today I did 70, and went up to a fast walk early on then slowed it to a decent pace for me after that. My shins hurt! LOL! So I guess it's good I am starting this now, instead of finding out at WDW.
I just can't beleive with all the exercise I do DO that I still can do stuff to make body parts hurt. LOL!

So 26 more miles left to go! Easier said than done!

I took my niece when she was little to Tough to be a Bug; I want to say she was 5....she liked it except when the seats moved a bit, she was a little on the scared side, but only for a moment. She then realized it was part of the show. :)

As for exercizing, it is my albatross.
I have a gym that I go to faithfully (well, sort of) and I try to do at least an hour of stuff - whether it be a class or the treadmill/elliptical. On Tuesday, I did back to back classes and I'm still feeling it! I took the alst 2 days off, but I'm going back tonight for one class only, then maybe 20 minutes on either the treadmill or ellipitical.

At least weekly, I do the sauna. Ahhhh...makes one sleepy. :flower3:

Excercise is good for body mind and soul. You can do it just try to get 4 miles a day everyday and you will get to your goal and maybe pass it alittle you can try to do 4 miles 7 days and then 2 miles one day and have one day to rest completely. It is up to you but I know you can do it:banana:

Last night we went out to Dinner. DH doesn't talk Disney much, but it was kind of funny because he saw some people we knew there and the first thing he said after Hello, was that we are goingto Disney next week! :lmao:
Then he asked me while we were eatng which restaurants we're going to and what parks.
It was nice to know he is some what interested. :wizard:
