I am forgetting offhand if you guys have done TL. If you have, how would you compare the two? We have never been to either yet. Definitely next trip!
And what's this about a Mom and Daughter trip??? I am sure you and Kaylee would have a blast!
. Yes we went to TL last March. Most people like TL better but I'm in the minority. I think BB is better for smaller kids because the wave pool is not as crazy and the family raft ride is so much better. It's a much longer ride and there are none of those waterfalls they soak your face. We didn't even need to go to the kiddie area since Thomas could go on every slide except the 2 thrill slides. Kaylee got hurt in the wave pool at TL and almost fainted 
. the giant wave knocked her down and she scraped the whole side of her foot. Just make sure your DD wears watershoes and you'll be fine. I think TL overall is a prettier park since it's more of a tropical theme. But the kids haven't stopped talking about BB since we have been home. 
. It was frustrating. It seems this trip we had to make the best out of things more than usual 
with the monsoon and all. Were planning on going next year though. Not sure of details yet.
Wow - what a frustrating start to your day! I'm sure Tommy was really aggravated to have missed the first half of your BB day!
But, on the positive side, Blizzard Beach sounds fantastic! I'm glad there were no injuries this time around - no scraped feet or passing out, right?
Don't they have a chair lift to go up to the top of one of those hills? Reading about the steps sounds exhausting!

Oh, and YAY on the R2D2!! Woo-hoo!!!
. Yes they have a chair lift but by noon there is a wait for that too. We opted for the stairs since I'm scared of heights. Also with it being just me and the kids I would have been extra nervous. Thomas is happy that his R2 is on he way.
That screw up with your KTWK was RIDICULOUS! That stinks that Tom missed most of the morning taking care of it On a positive note, Blizzard Beach looked like so much fun! We LOVE Teamboat Springs too..our FAVE!! I am glad the bus went there fist instead of AK! Looking forward to more!!
I know what you mean about not having your car to get around though. My DH and I decided two trips ago that from now on we were renting a car no matter what. The bus situation is just too frustrating, and when you want to go to another resort, it just makes it so long because you have to go to a park first to get there. Glad you were able to meet up with so many Dis Friends.

Loved the update and pictures of Blizzard Beach. We've never been to a water park there either and I can never decide which one I want to go to if we ever go. Love Kaylee's suit too. Sorry about all the frustration at SSR but I'm so glad it got worked out.
It would be great if you and Kaylee got to do a mother/daughter trip next year - they are the best!
. I really want to take Kaylee sometime without the boys. Thomas told us yesterday that Kaylee and I need to go get R2D2 and he will stay home with dad. That would have been fine with me .I am so happy to hear you were able to order the R2D2!
Great trip report Nichole! Sounds like a rough start for you with the pool puke, DDP problem and the impending rain but at least you were at WDW!!!
. We still had a great time even with the rough start and rain. We plan to drive from now on or if we do fly rent a car.

., Thomas loved all the slides that he was tall enough for. Toboggan racers is one of our favorites too.
That is so true we go on vacation so that we get away from aggravation but it follows us everywhere .
And its never fun having hubby grumpy on vacation!
