Awww, your family is so cute. Congrats on your upcoming vowel renewel!! BTW, I took a peek at your VR, and I like cake number 2 with the castle on it!!

Also, I want to say that I appreciate you coming out of lurkdom. I was wondering if I really had any lurkers, or if I just imagine in my head that other people might be following along on my TR.

I love reading your trip report - thanks for sharing

:welcome: Yay, another first time poster!! Welcome to the DIS!!

Thanks for the kind words, I am going to do my next installment soon.

Your daughter is so beautiful. I love your avatar picture of her. I knew instantly when I saw your family photo said:
Aww Thanks:cloud9: We think she is beautiful but we are partial;) I love that side of the state. We try to get to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg 2-3 times a year. It is so beautiful. DH grew up here in Nashville and I'm originally from MI.

Ok....so when is the next installment? I'm ready to waste another day reading:surfweb:

Are you sure you want more? I am excited to get one of these guys as well...:surfweb:.Glad to know you are interested in my TR. :cool1: I am working on the next installment now. If only I could get my DD to leave my side for about 30 minutes, then I would get done a lot faster.

:yay: Another Lurker!!! Your family is beautiful. How old are your precious girls? and when was your trip to WDW?

I LOVE your trip report!! Thank you for taking the time to post. We are going the exact same week this May so I love seeing what you did each day. Your pictures are great and your family is beautiful.

My DH and I have three children - DS is almost 7, DD1 is 4 and DD2 is 15mths. We are taking the whole family and my parents on our trip. My mom is turning 60 on May 5 so we will be there for her big day. I will try to add a pic if I can figure that out.

Thanks again!

Another newbie to the DIS! Welcome!

I am glad you are enjoying my TR. I am excited for you to go. THat is a good time to visit. You are going to have so much fun. Post me a picture when you can!!

Alright, give me a minute to think back to where I was in my TR. Goofy(DS7) and I had just gotten back from ToT and the kids were playing on the playground. That's right. Sorry, I have to type out loud to myself so I can get my thoughts straight.

We decided to go on over and see Lightning McQueen since he was close by. It was now about 3:00. When we got there, there were only a few others in line so we decided to wait. We love the movie Cars. For one reason because I have a bunch of boys and of course they like cars. And for another reason, my sweet DH is from the hillbilly hills of TN. Now I am from TN, but not the hillbilly hills part. My DH, bless his heart, is a man who knows how to live off the land if needed. He grew up without running water, and working in the fields. This is actually one of the reasons I fell in love with him. He is like McGyver. He is a Jack of all trades. He can do anything, so I knew he would be able to take care of me. All though I will admit, I had to look past his accent. When we first started dating I kind of teased him a bit.:sad2:So anyways, a lot of his buddies sound just like Tomater. I laughed the whole time I saw that movie because of some of the stuff mater would say. I had heard a lot of it before.

Just look how hot and sweaty these boys were.

and one more of our beloved Mater.

I think Princess(DD2) was taking a cat nap at this point. After seeing the Cars, we thought it would be a good idea to get into some air conditioning. So we walked over to Muppet 3D. Here is the fountain right outside that theater.

campingandDisney2009604.jpg

I believe I could have just jumped right into that fountain at this point, but for the sake of all those around me, I restrained myself. Well, the older two boys liked the muppet movie, but the younger two were a little freaked out by the monster guy that walks through the theater. I don't know his name. Anyway, once again they held their ears through this one. I had forgotten how funny the muppet's were until I watched this. I am going to have to see if I can find some clips of that show on youtube. I am sure my kids would love it.

So now is the moment you all have been waiting for. We realized that the power rangers would be out again soon so we headed there straight away. We were the first ones out there so we asked a CM where the red ranger was going to stand to make sure we were in the right line for him. Donald(DS4) was going to see the red ranger if it was the last thing we do. We sat ourselves down on the sidewalk and decided that DH could run and get us a snack since he is so good at that. :thumbsup2 Luckily, there is a little snack cart right where the power rangers come out. Does anybody know what it sells? You are never going to guess so I might as well tell ya. It sells hotdogs and pretzels and drinks. They even have hotdogs wrapped in pretzels on a stick! So my DH got a couple of the hotdog wrapped pretzel things and a couple of drinks and brought them back to us on the sidewalk. Of course my kids liked these. I mean, they had to have a hot dog at some point this day since they had pizza for lunch. Crazy kids! I personally am not a hot dog eater. Just thought you should know that. I did however enjoy some of the cold slushy before it was contaminated with hot dog backwash. We had just enough time to finish our snacks and then we hear the power ranger music, and out they came. They each took turns doing some sort of cool move that only power rangers can do. What? You don't believe me? Never fear, I took video. I am just warning you, you may need to put on some sunglasses before you witness the coolness of the power rangers. By the way, sorry the footage isn't so great. That guy in the red shirt kept moving around and would constantly get in my way. I should have been more aggressive and said "back up buddy, I got the real red ranger right here."

I personally want to be the yellow one, I like her moves. Or the blue Jungle Fury Ranger because he is like a Jaguar, and I like his move at the 48 sec mark where he leans his head back. :rotfl: You have to know I am kidding. I can't believe these Power Rangers don't do flips or anything. Donald(DS4) has better moves than that. Oh Well. Here are the pics you have been waiting for.

I love how Goofy(DS7) is pacing in this first picture. He was thinking of his power ranger moves.

Donald(DS4) is looking at his shirt to compare the red jungle fury ranger on his shirt, to the red spd ranger in person.
campingandDisney2009618.jpg

Here Goofy(DS7) is checking to make sure he is doing the move right.
campingandDisney2009619.jpg

Princess(DD2) could really care less.
campingandDisney2009620.jpg

Since Princess(DD2) wasn't too excited to see Red Ranger, we went to see Yellow Ranger next. Maybe she would like the female one with the ever so cool moves.

Goofy(DS7) wasn't as excited about the girl power ranger.

Donald(DS4) didn't care. He likes all the rangers.

and last, we saw green ranger. He was so cool.

This one cracked me up because Donald(DS4) was standing just like green ranger.
Image573.jpg

DH laughing at Donald(DS4). Isn't it the best feeling to see WDW through your children's eyes? I love it.

Image574.jpg

Lego(DS6) having fun.

Image575.jpg

Seeing all these pictures really makes me want to go back there again!Well, it was now 5:00. The kids were tired and wanting to go to the pool, and I didn't blame them. Even Lego(DS6) decided he didn't want to go back through the star wars store because he was so tired. I was desperately wanting to see Beauty and the Beast because I had never seen it before, but DH gave me the this look :sad2:. So I sucked up my tears and said alright we will leave. But wait, that's not all... I still had those FP's for RNRC. DH did give me the go ahead to ride it by myself quickly, while he waited with the kids.:dancer:
I was so happy. I gave him a big public display of affection right on the lips and ran off on my way. That was the first time I had ever ridden that ride, and it was sooooo AWESOME!! Another new favorite for me. After I rode it, I offered to watch the kids while DH went. He didn't go though, because he knew the kids were tired and just wanted to go rest. On our way out we saw these guys.

campingandDisney2009621.jpg

How do they walk in those shoes?

campingandDisney2009622.jpg

We left the park and went back to POR. In case you don't remember, we used two table service credits the day before at Epcot. So, today we were using two quick service credits. My original plan was to go over to the Coronado Springs Resort and eat at their quick service restaurant because it has like $20.00 steaks and chicken and other sorts of nice food for a quick service credit. I thought it would be a good way to be sure and get my money's worth, but alas, the kids were worn out. So, we ate at POR instead and went straight to the pool afterwards. Sorry, no food pics again. This is where I ask Madimouse if she has any pics from POR. Madimouse???

Madimouse here to save the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sad2: Only pics from POFQ! :rotfl2:

Did you say hillbilly hills??? :lmao:

Great update! :thumbsup2

You would think the Power Rangers would have some cooler moves! I forgot to add on my last post that when I read the part about your DH running "to get Red's signature" I was in tears! What a great dad! That and I was totally emotional yesterday and started crying when I saw the Superbowl "I'm going to Disney World" commercial.:sad2: Wonder how much they get paid to say that... and if they really go.:confused3

I think that the characters at DHS are some of my favorite! You can see Mickey or Minnie any ole' where but the characters at DHS are so unique! The I loved the Army men! Did you come across the Citizen's of Hollywood? They are so much fun!!

I didn't even realize you had posted two updates until I posted then it took me back a page for some reason... so I saw the other update and I had jumped ahead in the story so I had to jump back (kinda like Kevin Bacon but not with the funny hair, I hope). So long story short I'm posting to say "Woohoo" to fellow Tennesseean (is that the correct?). I am born and raised in on the Mt. (that's what we call it) in TN and moved up north when DS was a baby.

Did you find the Cars revin' startling for the kids. DD got up to Mater and the cars reved' and she freaked out! We didn't even get a picture with Mater because of it.

I used to love that show Mighty Mouse!!:worship:

I knew you would like the hillbilly hills.

Well, post a few pics of POFQ food. I feel like I need a food update since I didn't have any pictures that day. :)

I love the characters at DHS as well. There are so many photopass opportunities too. I hate that there is just not enough time in the day to see all the shows and meet all the characters. I didn't see Citizen's of Hollywood. :sad2: I will just have to try and come across them next time!

Glad I could make you cry!:thumbsup2

Uh Oh. Well, I am glad it took you back a page and that you did not miss one of my posts. That would definitely have been a tragedy. Doing a little churning of the butter for fellow Tennesseans!!:woohoo:

The Cars did not rev their engines. I guess that would have scared my kids too. I am glad they didn't make any noise. All though I would have liked to hear Mater say,"SHOOT"

Well, I have been trying for a long time tonight to figure out how to get my photos onto a photosharing account so that I can post a picture of the family but my computer keep blocking the upload...urghhh! I will keep trying.

In the meantime, I am enjoying your trip report and all the funny comments. Hope you don't mind a few questions. What is the "stay, play, dine free for kids" deal you mentioned? Wonder if that is available now. Also, did you like purchasing a touring plan? I have not yet and am wondering if I should. We are traveling the same week as you but this May.

Thanks. Looking forward to more updates!

Great update! Too bad You didn't get to se Beauty and the Beast, it really is a great show, did you get to see it another day? I missed it on our last trip but I am determined to see it when we go in May.

I don't know how much they are paid but I believe they really do go, there is usually a parade. The guy this year, (Brees?) Was there I think it was Monday and there are youtube videos of it..

I just wanted to say how much I am enjoying your trip report and the pics of your adorable family. I hope my boys are as good as yours about visiting the princesses as Mummy wants to meet them all.:)

My big boys loved the pictures of your children and Rockhopper from Club Penguin.

Here is a pic of my three boys.

Great Update!!
Thanks for you compliments about our family. The girls are 5 and 3 now. We went to Disney December 08. We are hoping to go next summer with DH's whole family!

Laura

They need a surf web smiley who is laughing...because while I am doing this :surfweb: I am also doing this :lmao:

I do have to admit that I am not a Power Rangers fan. :sad1: I just don't know much about them. :confused3 I'm sure if I ever have boys then I will have to learn. However, the pictures of your boys with the Power Rangers were SOOOO cute!
