CC's Weight Loss Journey

Thanks again for all the encouragement. I ate quite a bit today, but only ate a few of my WPA and no binges! I am very proud of myself, Barb! We celebrated someone's birthday at work today and it was a very light dessert. I got in all the GHG except the multivitamin and that's because I was at someone else's house for dinner, which is when I usually take it. I got in almost 8,000 steps today. My pedometer wasn't working perfectly either, so I probably got in even more than that. Also, I got in all 4 COWs, including 30 (not just 20) min. of exercise.

Today was a great day! Hoping for another one tomorrow!
 
Here's a quick summary:

- Still have 17.5 of my WPA left, which is great, considering I was expected to eat a bunch of samples today
- Ate more than I wanted to, but still ok, considering everything (see above)
- Had loads of veggies today-like 3+ cups, and at least 1.5 cups of fruit
- Got in all my GHG except for 1/2 oils
- Got in all 4 COWs (bringing me to 6/6 days! and perfect since the start of WISH BL 9!)
- Got in 1 AP (yoga-the workout Wii BL picked for me as part of my "plan"), plus almost 8,000 steps
- and, most importantly, no binges! No binges since Friday night. So Sat. through today, bringing me to 5 days! I'm so proud of myself.

Got in 30 min. of Wii Fit Plus Free Step while watching the morning news this morning. That's the first time all week I've been able to get up and exercise. Hoping to get in 10,000 steps today.
 

Sounds like you're getting plenty of use out of that Wii. Aren't they great?

As of now, I have went 7+ days without binge eating. Today will make 8 if I am successful and I'm determined to be.

Yesterday, I finished 3 weeks of getting in every COW. This week's is more of a challenge, but I'm up for it. I've already gotten in my exercise, as well as 1 fruit. I'm going to end up using some of my WPA today, but that's ok. I'll try to get in lots of APs this week. My goal is for 10 of them.

Just a quick update for now. Will update again this weekend.
 
No bingeing today! I am still a little hungry, but I'm afraid that it'll turn into a binge, so I probably won't be eating anymore tonight. I lost all the weight I gained last week, which means I'm back to 22 POINTS per day. I'm hoping to break out of the rut in which I fall apart when I get into the 130s and go back up to the low 140s. Even though I'm only a few pounds overweight right now, I'm not happy with my weight and/or body. I'd really like to be around 117-121. I'd really like to lose some weight in my chest, but that hasn't happened yet, so I'm not exactly optimistic about that. I'm just not happy with my chest size. I used to be a lot smaller and am hoping to be that small again.

Ok, now for a quick summary.
- I've eaten 26.5, so 4.5 of my WPA
- I earned 1 AP. Hoping for more tomorrow.
- I've walked over 2,000 steps. Not too bad for a weekend day.
- Got in all 4 COWs today

That's about it. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
 
I have no idea when I'm going to get in some exercise today. I'm thinking about taking a 20-30 minute walk in a little bit, when the temperature warms up. It's also elimination day on the Wii BL game. I'll have to do that today was well. I'm really hoping I won't be eliminated again. I did all the workouts for the week, plus part of a challenge yesterday. The latter was my choice. I'm hoping the game will say that I lost 5 pounds like the WW scale said.

As of now, I've eaten 8.5 POINTS. That includes whole grains, 1.5 cups of apple (diced up), 1 orange, 1 cup of milk, and 2 tsp. of canola oil.

Ok, time to get in some exercise.
 
Well, I ate more than I planned to today, but no binges!

Ate 30.5 POINTS and haven't earned any APs. I did take a 20 min. walk, but didn't count that as I didn't reach 2000 steps during it. I have reached almost 9000 for the day, so I will probably push myself to reach enough steps for 1 AP. I should easily be able to do that. I'm hoping to get in 2-3 APs tomorrow. Hopefully, the 3rd one will be due to getting in 10,000+ steps!

You're doing great - i'm so excited to see you're avoiding binges! Are you finding something is helping you through? If so, write it down!!! Remember it for those moments when an urge hits...

Great job on relosing the weight you gained...I'm sorry you aren't happy with your body, but we all have issues :( kind of sucks we're so self critical. There's a book called body drama - really nice to help wth body confidence...lots of pics of people in all different sizes and shapes - and really shows you how varied we all are...and that's okay.

Glad to see you've been getting in activity - and almost 9,000 steps yesterday...woohoo!

No bingeing again today! I'm so proud of myself. It was a rough day, but I ate because I was hungry and used other strategies to deal with how I was feeling. I'm very proud of myself. Thanks for all the encouragement and reinforcement. I'm hoping to go until Feb. 1st without bingeing. If I do, I'll officially declare myself bingeing-free.

I did eat a lot today and no longer have any of my Weekly Points Allowance left. That's ok. I'll get in loads of activity in the next few days. I started a Wii BL workout today and it did me in. I couldn't even make it through one circuit. I did do 30 minutes of free step on the balance board today. Plus, I took a very short walk with my mother which helped up my total step count for the day to over 7,000. I'm happy with that. I'd love to get in close to 15,000 steps tomorrow to earn 2 APs. I'm not planning to eat them; my goal is to earn 10 APs this week and I'm only at two. I'm also planning to walk with my mother in the morning, if it isn't raining that is. I also got in all 4 COWs today plus lots of water. I have to remember to drink water at lunch. Lately, I haven't been drinking anything.

Here is my plan/goals for tomorrow:
- Breakfast: oatmeal, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tsp. oil, 1.5 cups diced apple
- Lunch: 4 POINTS WW Smart One, 1 medium orange
- Dinner: unsure (I'll have 12 POINTS still if I don't eat anything else for the day. I'll have to have 1/2 cup of milk and 1 tsp. of oil with dinner.)
- 13,500+ steps
- Wii BL routine
- BL Jump-Start DVD (1 routine, not all 6)'
- morning 2.2 mile walk with my mother

So, if succeed in implementing my plan, I'll have earned 5 APs and eaten 22 POINTS. That would be a great day.

Well, I'm exhausted, but still very proud of myself.

That's what it's all about, just limiting your eating to when you are hungry. Between that and your strategies, you have lots of good reasons to be proud of yourself. :goodvibes

Today was a great day! I ate 22 POINTS and earned 6 APs. I got in the BL DVD I planned, plus 20+ min. on the Wii Fit Plus, followed by 30 min. of free step during what I watched of BL 9, and 1/2 circuits of a Wii BL workout routine (off-day routine). The Wii BL routine was hard. I could only handle 1 circuit, but still a great workout. I also got in over 10,000+ steps. I didn't make my goal, but I'm not complaining. And, best of all, no bingeing! I didn't even think about eating outside of my normal times today! Also, got in all 4 COWs easily today!

Here is my plan for tomorrow:
Breakfast: 1 cup cooked oatmeal, 1.5 cups diced apple, 1 tsp. canola oil, 1 cup of milk (6)
Lunch: roast beef sandwich, 1 orange, 1 cup of pudding (7)
Dinner: have 9 POINTS plus however many APs I earn outside of my all-day steps

I'm hoping to get in 8 glasses of water tomorrow, instead of the 6 I drank today. I'm planning to go to the gym after work tomorrow and then do a Wii BL routine. Tomorrow is my scheduled day. I'm hoping for yoga, but not sure what it will be. I'm aiming for 10,000+ steps tomorrow as well.

I ate more than I was expecting to today, but I was hungry-no binges! I haven't had a binge since Friday, Jan. 15th! I am very proud of myself. I'm not expecting to lose much of anything this week, but I got exercise in and I did the best I could with eating. I may be pleasantly surprised when I weigh-in on Saturday. Today, I did 1/3 circuits of a challenging Wii BL routine. It was rough. I've never been assigned a challenging one before and it did me in. I also burned a few calories on the Wii Fit Plus and attempted Week 1, Day 1 of the C25K. I got through a couple of circuits at a good pace and burned a quick 100 calories on the treadmill. Plus, I got in over 10,000 steps today! I'm hoping to do that again tomorrow!

Deb, I will definitely take your suggestion and reread my journal. I also got in 8 glasses of water today. Very happy with that.
