CBR transportation question

I'll be staying for the first time at CBR. I won't be renting a car so I'm wondering what the bus service is like. I've got a couple of breakfasts planned in the MK area around 10:00 AM. What kind of travel times can I expect? How early should I leave the resort?

We stayed at CBR recently and I must say we were very lucky with the buses. Catching busses at CBR and from the parks to CBR, we never waited longer than 5-10 minutes except one time. Returning from Typhoon Lagoon mid-day we waited about 20 minutes. Although, I think the service to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach is less frequent than to the main parks. We only used the transportation to go to and from the parks, not to other resorts. In fact, one night from the Boardwalk, we went to the front of the BWI and got a cab which only cost $6 + tip.

As far as timing, I tried to allow 15 minutes to wait for the bus (in case we just missed one) and about 30 minutes transport time. Typically we got to our bus stop between the top of the hour and quarter past and by half past to quarter before, we were arriving at the park.

I thought the bus service at CBR was decent, or else we were just lucky .

I've worked a few Studios shifts recently, and I haven't heard of any major problems over there at Caribbean. (Studios is the hub that handles CBR's Magic On Demand) Things seemed to be working fine, with the usual ocassional Signal 72. (Full bus)

There are 7 stops within CBR... Buses are dispatched to alternate where they start. When a bus fills up, they'll send another bus to start where the other bus left off. Standard Intervals lately seem to be 15 mins or less. Less if buses are filling up.

Travel times to the parks are fairly decent... from the exit gate, 5 mins to the Studios, 7 mins to DAK, 7 mins to Epcot, 11 mins to Magic Kingdom, and 8 minutes to DTD. (All times are approximate, and can vary by driver)

Thanks guys! I feel better now A coworker was telling me how she heard the bus service was terrible at CBR. I really didn't want to spend any extra money on a rental car ... and I also don't feel like driving!
