Just wondering if anyone that was scheduled to stay at the CBR & made the rehab switch to the Poly is back yet?!!?? If so, how was it & what kind of room location did you get?

We had a king room for CBR for our honeymoon and were switched to the Poly. I'm wondering what we might end up with since they don't have king rooms.

We got switched from CBR to poly and payed a little extra for a concierge room, hey it was already a good rate and you only get married in disney once!;) It should be awesome.

We were just there from 9/9 - 9/14. I didn't fax a request for a longhouse and we were given Tokelau. This is the one that Tikiman had recommended to me and it was great for our needs. It was right next to the quiet pool and not too far from the volcano pool and the GCH. And I agree with the comments that the map of the resort is deceiving. Everything is much closer than it looks. We walked to the TTC to get the monorail when we wanted to go to Epcot and we took the monorail from the resort when we wanted to go to MK. I would have upgraded to the concierge had it been offered, but it was not. When I asked about availability, they offered it at the standard rate. There was some sort of sales convention there and I think they were more booked than usual because of it.
Any other questions - just let me know. I still feel like I'm there!

I am worried about whether the balance on our room should be paid in advance or when we arrive. I know with some ressies you have to pay in advance and some you don't. Since you can often get different answers to questions from different people at CRO I don't feel real confortable about it. We are not on a package and were switched to the Poly from CBR. When did you pay your balance?

I booked through the CRO and paid our balance when we checked in (credit card). They also gave us express checkout which meant that we didn't have to go down to the front desk when we were ready to leave. I was up at 6:30 AM on the day we were to check out and the receipt was already under the door. I checked the charges and didn't have any discrepancies so we got ready and were on our way. No hassles - just the way I like it!

Hi. I'm new to this board but have been reading for awhile.

We were upgraded from CBR to Poly also. We are also wondering what the change will do. At CBR we were King Waterfront and at Poly it will be garden view and no king bed since they have no king beds. We are also leaving Sept. 28 - Oct. 5. Can't wait!!!!

Would you mind telling us what the 'little extra' was to upgrade to concierge?!?

We are waiting to pay our balance when we get there. I did pay the extra $20 - so we have one night paid for as the deposit.

No prob-
To some it probably is more than a little, but to us you only get married once(keep that in mind) it was 450.00 extra for the entire length of stay, thats great considering it would have been 420.00 extra for a standard room w/lagoon view, and reg. rates would be through the roof!
~til next time.:earsgirl:
