Well, here I go. I was always a very muscular person I played ALLLL the sports in High school
then I blew my knee, hit college, had a baby, got married, got divorced, gained weight, and became very sedentary. Sometimes I get so depressed just thinking about it.
I have gained 100 pounds since high school!!! I can hardly believe it myself... ME the all state basketball and volleyball player!
I have, since November gained 50 pounds! Is that nuts or what!?!?! Well, I am an emotion-linked eater too! November was a wonderful and awful month for my DH, DD10, and myself. Wonderful I got married to the man of my dreams. Awful while we were on our honeymoon in Cancun, our house had a fire in it and we lost everything , worst of all - our beloved 2 cats and pet chinchilla. Completely devastating!
As you can probably see . That was such a hard time for us . I ate so much and still do . It is what makes me feel better then I hate myself for doing it!
I have read the books, I bought the latest Atkins book . How do you make yourself do it! How do you end the cycle of emotional eating?
I am sorry to rant to you all . You dont know me . Maybe that is why I am able to do this . More anonymous and safe.
I need to just get healthy, emotionally and physically. I know what I am supposed to do I know how to exercise and how to eat right . Just doing it!
