Cat food

/
My two (8 years old) have both wet and dry.

The wet is:
Blue Buffalo Indoor Mature Freedom (Grain Free) or
Wellness Chicken & Herring Formula (Grain Free)

The dry is:
Iams Proactive Health Hairball Care (Mature Adult)

My three cats(7 yrs old) all get Fancy Feast wet cat food exclusively now. I had to switch when, Felix, my male tuxedo cat, had developed crystals in his urinary tract about a year ago. After several night stay and 1500+ dollars later, that was the decision I made. The vet wanted to sell me the Royal Canin urinary tract formula and it was super expensive. I did buy it and it still didn't help him. So now all three get the wet and it gets expensive. I order online from Amazon. I've also fed them I Love My Cat grain free wet from Costco and Blue Buffalo.

Both dry and wet

Dry is Purina One Smartblend Healthy Metabolism

Wet is Purina One Smartblend Pate (chicken flavor)

We used to only do dry food but when our cat got a bladder stone we got a drinking fountain and switched one of his meals to wet food.

He gets fed 3X per day. 2 are from the automatic cat food feeder at 1/4 cup each portion and the 3rd is one can of 3oz cat food. The automatic cat food feeder was expensive because our cat is too dang smart and those gravity things wouldn't have been worth it. This one we have is marketed as Kitty Proof since it requires finger dexterity to open the top part to refill the food. The food comes out to the bowl by way of a conveyor system.

We use Science Diet Light for dry food and Science Diet for Indoor Cats for wet. Only our 1 year old cats like the wet food. Our old lady (15 years) only wants kibble.

Fancy feast. My cat is weird won't eat anything fish or cheese/dairy(milk) or beef. Oh it has to be gravy or he gives you a dirty look.

Used to do Science Diet Indoor, but I'm having to switch up to prescription Royal Canin Hydrolysed Protein because my cat his chronic belly issues.

Our last cat ate Little Friskies dry for the first 8 years of her life. She came down with IBS and we tried about every brand out there, including prescription wet foot before we found a food she could tolerate. The last 4 years of her life she ate to Purina Pro Plan, only the fish varieties . That is all she could eat without a reaction.

All 4 of our indoor cats eat dry Friskies and 9 lives. For wet, they like friskies cans, they aren't very picky on flavors and eat most of the varieties

Iams dry. She gets a can of wet food a couple times a week.

I tried to switch her over to Rachael Ray food, but she had a severe reaction that almost killed her, so we are sticking with Iams.

I currently have two oldsters which means I have to be particular about what I feed them. They both eat Science Diet K/D kibble. (Technically, it's the younger of the two that needs this because he has kidney insufficiency so we are trying to, hopefully, keep him from or at least delay CRF (chronic renal failure.) My eldest (19!) also gets Wellness wet food. Our vet recommended it as a high quality food, and this kitty has always been slight but she is especially skinny as an oldster. She particularly likes the "morsels" and "gravies" packets so whatever she likes to eat - and however much she wants to eat - she gets!

We feed our cat dry food, Fromm's brand. It is locally made, sold exclusively at pet stores, and good quality.

We feed both of our dogs the Fromm's brand dry dog food as well.
