Of course, pi is an irrational number that cannot be expressed as a ratio of two whole numbers (a fraction).

But like horseshoes and hand grenades, being close is good enough. So a Tastykake rectangular pie will suffice.

In 7th grade math class the teacher challenged us to find a more accurate fractional approximation of pi than 22/7.

I think I got up to 339/108.

Some math nerd in class had both numerator and denominator in 4 digits.

I have some teeny tiny local wild Maine blueberries, vacuum sealed and frozen from last season. I'm thinking maybe a blueberry galette. If I don't have enough berries, I might add some peaches, or a cream cheese based filling. Hmmm... Wednesday is my birthday, maybe I'll make this, stick a candle in it, and CELEBRATE!
