Castle lighting question

We will be at magic kingdom on 3 different days in two weeks. I'm trying to decide if it's better to try and catch the castle lighting on a day when there's MSEP or a day when there's MVMCP. I'm worried if we stay in the park til 6:15 on a party night, that the crowds will be too crazy, but planning wise it probably works best for us. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

For those dates, I'd figure it would be a toss-up between party and no-party nights.
