Castaway Club Sling Bags

We love our one Disney backpack. We recently purged out the sling bags when we were cleaning out our closet over the holidays. Found them to be too small to be practical.

I like the sling bags for day activities like going ashore on a port day. For one person they're just the right size imo, and I like how they are positioned to put the weight on your back rather than hanging down from your shoulder, even though they only go on one shoulder.

I'm glad I got the 2 I had. My first one failed hideously along the side seam and was retired. The second is in storage somewhere, but it will no doubt be replaced in Sept.

I liked the sling bags with the castaway color levels better than the blue one. It seemed to be made of thicker material.

Hopefully with the new promotion May 1 the bags for all levels may change. I know platinum is a new cooler bag. I already have 3 of those. ive Managed to give my slings away, though a stray always show up unexpectedly.

They also don't hold much for their size.

Totally agree on this! The bags look cute but honestly are pretty much worthless if you want to carry anything significant. Think cross body purse in a sling bag. Essentials only. I have so many and I can't give the away. last cruise pre shut down we tried to give ours away to neighboring rooms. The people we offered them to say no - the previous guests didn't want theirs either and left them in the room for us. LOL

We finally got something different on our last cruise - Platinum got a back pack cooler. That I like!!!

We love the sling bag better than the beach bag. We use it in the parks. We don’t cruise enough to get too many of a thing. 4 in the last 10 years. We actually need a new sling, hoping we get one in March 2024.
