Castaway Club numbers on reservation

I only gave TA my CC# to add to our reservation. She didn't ask for others and I just thought it was adequate to get gifts in our stateroom.

Now I am wondering if that will affect our gift(s), i.e., I think there was one towel and two pins as gifts -- is that standard for any room with a CC member, or will we just get one gift if only one CC number is on the reservation? Anyone know?

I might be reading this wrong, but don't you only get one Castaway Club membership card/number per family?

We only got one for our family of five after our first cruise
two years ago.

Should we have received more?

I believe that each member of the family will receive their own Castaway Club number. (At least this was our experience when we first cruised with DCL way back in 2000. We booked under Travis and, about a month after returning from our cruise, we each received our own specialized Castaway Club Cards with unique Castaway Club Member numbers on them. This, of course, could have changed since 2000.)

However, Castaway Club repeat cruiser gifts are assigned per stateroom booked.

So, although each member of four-person family may have their own unique Castaway Club number, the group as a whole will only receive one repeat cruiser item if they all stay in the same stateroom. So, all in all, it would not really matter if you only gave the Castaway Club number for one member versus all four.

I belive it is only issued to the person whos name the reservation was made under, DW has a card only but we book with it I guess I'll always be Mr. DW when at sea:p
I was kind of upset I didn't recive a card also but we go together anyway, and this way she dose all the talking to the TA:D
I can just hang out at the DIS and plan:)

That makes sense and is what I initially thought, but sometimes you just need a little reassurance.

Thanks!

FYI to those who don't think each member gets a number: Each and every member of our travel party, including children, were assigned a castaway club number after our October cruise. I did not receive a card, so called to check on this and when I gave my name and sailing date the CM gave me all numbers for all parties.

We were on the Wonder on Feb 1,2004 and we are wtill waiting for our CC cards as of today (March 21)

Billinaz--

From what I understand, DCL no longer mails out Castaway Club Member Cards. I believe they just assign the member numbers.

I never got my membership number or card after our first cruise so prior to our second, I called them and they told me my number and mailed me my card. It looks like a credit card, hotel room key, etc. but they were still mailing them in October. Not sure if they still do or not.

We've been on 3 DCL cruises and have never received a card with our numbers. I called the Castaway Club number and asked for the numbers for the rest of the family. We would only really need those numbers if we were travelling seperately though, as the gift is per room not per member.

Hmm...we got a card, but only one, in DH's name, as he was the one with the ressie....that was about 3-4 weeks ago, and we cruised 1/31/04.

All members of the travelling party gets a number, but I belive it use to be the person who has the reservation got a card, while the rest just have a number in the system.

My DS and I were on the 2/15 Wonder. I received an envelope this week with ONE Castaway Club CARD in it.

We were on the same ship with you and didn't even know it!!! WE just got our card last week, too.

I want to go AGAIN!!!!!

i lost my card but know that my husband and i are both members.i told my dreams unlimited agent that we were cc members and returning cruisers. will that be enough for the gift?

Well DCL knows who has cruised so I would think you would pop up as a CC member but I would call and ask what my # is to be sure

We've been on 3 dcl and have never recieved a card. But we do each have a number and get the gift each time we sail.
