I'll also point out that "stuff" like KTTW cards, credit cards, and even cash can get wet. My husband just uses the pocket in his swim trunks, and I use a more time-honored place of concealment for ladiesJust want to know where do you store away your things if you decide to go snorkeling if you are only traveling with your SO. No kids. Is there a locker? :S
Hoping someone can answer this for me!

If you are talking about larger things, like towels, or a book, as noted, you can just leave them on your chair.
I always have my camera (waterproof) strapped to my wrist, so it goes in the water with me.
People tend to get more cranky about the reserving of hammocks more than the chairs themselves, since well, there are thousands of chairs and like 50 hammocks.I have read a lot of discussion on the "saving" of chairs on the ship. Does this not apply to CC? If we were to leave our things, on a chair, covered with a towel on CC, it would be safe from removal of a perturbed guest? I'm asking only because our first cruise is coming up, and I'd like to know the etiquette on CC vs. the ship as far as "staking claim on the chairs" goes...

While the policy of saving chairs also applies to those at Castaway Cay, it seems that there's much less angst with using the chairs/loungers for most of the day, even if you aren't in them.I have read a lot of discussion on the "saving" of chairs on the ship. As noted, hammocks, however, are "prime" property. Although I never really enjoyed a hammock, there are people who plop all their gear in them and head out for parts unknown while on Castaway Cay, never really lying in the hammock, but using them for storage.
There are tons of chairs and umbrellas at CC versus a limited number by the pool. I think most understand that people use the chairs on CC as their "home base" while on the island so there will be stuff on the chairs even while people are out enjoying other parts of the island.
I am in a wheelchair and often wait for my wife on the beach whilst she swims. I offer and am asked to watch people's items under towels etc. You can always ask somebody near by to watch yours. I am always more thsn happy when asked.
I always find the concept of asking a stranger to watch your stuff somewhat amusing. How do you know that person is any more trustworthy than anyone else? By asking a person to watch your stuff, you're telling them you have something valuable and that you are going to be away and not watching your property for a while.
Well I guess you are right but maybe people think that I look innocent in my wheelchair with my Captain America wheels. Little do they know this is how I fund my next cruise lol...
