castaway cay...can you inflate???

I was wondering if anyone out there has an answer.....Is there a place to inflate rafts, air mattressess etc. We are hoping we are not passed out face down in the sand from blowing up an air ring and mattress

I have never seen a place to inflate those things at Castaway Cay, that does not mean it does not exist. Maybe someone else has the answer for you??

You could buy a little one at a wal-mart type store?? I know we'll carry a few different ones including a little hand-held one...

Disney rents two types of floats on Castaway Cay: Blue full-body floats -- I think they were foam types rather than inflatables, but we didn't actually have those, so I'm not sure. The other type was a large clear inner-tube with good strong handles. We rented two of the tubes and the whole family enjoyed them.

I'd rent them there for $6/day rather than carry along something else.

We bring our swim tubes for the swim chair - those "noodles" are a lot of fun for the kids -even those who are older seem to enjoy them.

These are what the tubes and floats look like. Out of 9 DCL cruises I have not seen a place where you can inflate your own other than by lung power!!!

Maybe if you ask one of the CM's they can direct you somewhere, but I doubt it.

On CC there are the blue float mats and the clear tubes. You can change one for another throughout the day. They are only $6 so I wouldn't bother bringing something that would make me pass out after blowing up. The day on CC is to short as it is - gotta make the most of the time and fun and relaxation.
