I am getting ready for a trip to WDW and I was wondering if Cast Members still received Laynard Pins at the beginning of their shifts? I have looked everywhere for a check sheet of pins released for Cast Member trading for 2015 and can't find anything. Anyone know the answer or where I can find the checklist? Thanks.

WDW and DLR get new Cast Member Lanyard (Hidden Mickey Pins) a couple of times per year (normally). So far, there has only been on release in 2015.

You can find the previous releases for WDW here:

In terms of the lanyards, it seems to vary whether or not the CMs get "new" lanyards at the start of the shift. Sometimes they just take over a lanyard from another CM, sometimes they can refresh the pins on the lanyard before going out on "stage".

Thank you so much! That is exactly what I was looking for. When we went in 2013 we had a hard time finding the Cast Lanyard Pins, I hope we have more luck this year!

The CM lanyards don't always have just Cast lanyard pins. Each CM in a pin trading position is in charge of their lanyard. They can replenish or swap out pins during breaks or before shifts but they don't have to. Custodial usually has the best pins as well as merchandise locations that do not sell food. Attractions is hit and miss now with most of those having their pin trading rights removed.
