Cass, Rob and Kira back in Disney! Toddlers' tempers and tantrums PTR NOW LIVE !!!

Oooh, squeeee! I'm so excited for a new report from you!! It seems like not so very long ago that Kira was born!! AND you're even getting a night at the Sandwich Resort!! (I know, we mock 'BLT', too. I am sad, because before it had a real name, it was in the system as "Project Crystal". I liked that!!)

I love hearing about all your pre-trip planning stuff, I miss doing that! Can't wait for the rest! :)

Absolutely Wonderful

Just read through from page one. Sounds like it's going to be a great trip!

Glad you made it through the whole thing :goodvibes

great pre-trippie...I am so impressed with your creative stuff...autograph book and buttons...etc. I pmed you with questions. But I had to post about how much I am enjoying your report!

Have a great trip!

Thanks, hope the PM helped a little :thumbsup2

We'll be ready then! Doing well... getting oldest ready for college. :scared1:

College??? :scared1: Wow!!! Good luck!!

I love your Bobigator:thumbsup2

I also like your small carry card w/ schedules. I don't think I am that tallented but I do have a book and did make a restaurant schedule for our family of 8 trip at Thanksgiving... All kids have blackberry's now as well so I figure I can text daily schedules to them each morning. :rotfl:

Yeah, Rob would prefer it on his Blackberry but he got the same one as me :p :lmao:

Love the BOBigator (mine's all laminated already and ready to go), the Mickey stickers for the luggage (I keep starring at mine and want to stick them all over the place) and love, love, love the itinerary Cass. I'll be working on mine today but I'm afraid will be quite sparse compared to yours. :cool1:

If Rob needs any help with the shopping, I'm sure Karen and I can help out. I myself, love to spend money as long as it's someone elses!! :rotfl2:

If you see Rob in a store all by himself with his arms full of crap, can you please tell him "NO!" for me :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

It happens a lot ;)

You are seriously the queen of planning. Love the BOBigators!

Yeah, I'm a planner kind-a-girl ::yes:: :teeth:

For awhile wasn't it the Tower Villas or something like that??? I think that's wrong but it did have another name when the plans were first leaked. Better than BLT  :lmao:

Glad you found us :thumbsup2

Princess Kira

------------

I was getting a little bit more packing done today while Kira napped and I had her princess dresses out and so when she woke up I asked her if she would like to try them on. princess:

Can you guess her answer???

:rolleyes1

.

I showed her the Cinderella dress, which she got quite awhile ago from someone very special to us, but she wasn't really into the whole princess thing back then and so I just put it away for her so when I showed it to her today, her face was just beaming!!

She's into the princess thing now I tell ya! :thumbsup2:goodvibes

It fits perfectly!!! Well, it was a tad long but I am sure with shoes it will be perfect!!! princess:

And here is the little Cindy princess herself....

kira-cinderella.jpg

And although the Aurora dress which she wore last year for Halloween is a little small for her now, it still fits :goodvibes and she was very happy to be wearing it

Don't ya just love her cheesy grins!

kira-aurora.jpg

She didn't want to take them off so I let her play with them on for a bit before we put them in her suitcase. She's still talking about the dresses ;)

Cutest princess. Asiah has all those costumes too. She is not into princesses anymore so we will need to put them away like a wedding dress.

I think she will be giving them to her cousin when she outgrows them. ::yes:: Dani is obsessed with Cinderella so I'm sure she wouldn't mind :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

:banana:Hello! I am going to go along with you all via this trip report! :thumbsup2

Cass! Just got caught up on your latest. Ok, Disneyfied luggage, absolutely lovin that, what a perfect idea:thumbsup2. And that laminated card, omg, that is right up my alley. My family would laugh their head off, especially my DH, cuz they KNOW that our trip is almost here when I go off to Staples to laminate my calendar:lmao::lmao:! But I loved that little size that you do.

And those princess dresses! You know what I loved the best? Those little barefeet:lovestruc oh can she get any more adorable Cass.

So now you know what we need to see, those suitcases completely full, oh you know we need to see that next please.:)

Joining in on your fun!! Your little princess is adorable and it looks like you're doing great with getting everything packed and organized!!

I bet you're all getting excited!!!!!!!

I've been making those little calendars since 1999 but that year I didn't laminate it and it got soaked when we went on Kali River Rapids :rolleyes1

I know better now ;)

I was going to take a photo of that too-full cruise bag but you can see our Dis Tag gifts and I didn't want to ruin the surprise for my fellow cruisers.

I will try to take one though and maybe hide th gifts??? :lmao:

I don't blame her, those Disney dresses are so gorgeous!! :lovestruc

Glad to have you! :goodvibes And we are sooooooo excited!!! :yay::yay::yay:

Ok, I am soooo excited, Rob is somewhat excited (he doesn't get excited until we leave the house ) and everytime Kira and I talk about the trip, she just says "Let's Go!" so I think she may be a little excited too ;)

Cass....I love the Mickeys on your suitcase! If I may ask, what kind of sticker paper did you use? That's a great idea - our suitcases are among the millions of black suitcases out there...

Not sure, I just went to my local SB store and found a glittery single sticker sheet for $2.50. I wanted lime green but they didn't have it so I went with gold :thumbsup2

If you have a local SB store (not Michaels cus that's too general) they might carry some. Look in the loose paper section :)

What!?! Kira is old enough for playing dress up? No way! Time didn't just go by in a second, did it?:rotfl: Enjoy it now, Cass, because next is a bikini (with the body to go with it..):lmao:

She looks beautiful.princess:

love the princess dress pics cass.princess:princess:
i hope that poor girl isnt going to be overwhelmed by all of us in oct.;);)

addison just got a few of those dresses for her birthday. they plan on taking them to wdw in dec.:thumbsup2

Kira's Countdown Calendar

------------------------

Ok, I just picked up the last part of her calendar so we are all ready!

So this is what I did.....

I made 35 little bags with my Cricut Expression (personal cutting machine http://www.cricut.com/information/whatiscricut.aspx) and added numbers 1-35 with Disney characters on them. Inside I put little trinkets and treats in each one as well as some shiny Mickey stickers (same as the ones I used on the luggage).

Then I made a blank calendar (generic so it can be used over and over for each Disney trip ;)) and I got it printed at Staples in poster size 18x24 and then had it laminated too. It was a little pricey $28 but that's why I made it so we can use it again! :thumbsup2

Each night after supper, she gets to open a bag and have the treats and then she takes the Mickey sticker and tries to match up the number that's on the bag with the number on the calendar.

A little bit of learning as well as some fun!:cool1:;)

She opened #35 last night but we didn't have the calendar so she stuck the Mickey on today. Tonight after supper she gets to do #34 :goodvibes

She absolutely LOVED the bags and all the little prezzies inside! She understands that she has to wait until after supper every night to open another one and since #34 is Mr. Incredible (her current fave movie!) she is VERY excited about tonight :lmao:

Ok, here's some pics :upsidedow

Pics of the bags before I put the stuff inside of them.....

Some of the stuff that went inside

I used Disney stickers, Princess tattoos, Disney rings, beads and stuff for her crafts....I also got some bouncy balls and princess lip balm and some Hershey kisses and Reese's Pieces (her fave!)

And that's it! :thumbsup2

The creation of the bags was a little time consuming but turned out great, was really cheap since I already have TONS of SB paper and already own a Cricut, which I barely use :rolleyes1 and she loves them, so it was all worth it. :lovestruc

I will take a pic of her putting on a Mickey Sticker tonight, to give you an idea of how big the calendar is :thumbsup2

Cass those are incredibly cute! As a new scrapbooker I have to say that had to be so much work. Not that I don't think she is worth it...I do... but how do you do all that you do everyday? I also did not think about little bags done on the Cricut. :rolleyes1
