Get well soon Caskbill! Your software is truly a work of art! Prayers to you and yours...

Wonderful update. I hope your resting and getting stronger everyday.

I just got off the phone with Bill. He sounds really great and his attitude is wonderful. He has been regaining some strength and already has his blood pressure reduced to a healthy level. He can't sit at the computer for long time periods, but he hopes to post another personal update soon.

He is glad to be back home and getting his medical appointments all set up. Records from FL are being transferred to the cardiologist for review to assist with his continued treatment.

It was great to talk with him. :)

Thanks for the update Doc. Will continue to keep Bill in our prayers.

Good news, Doc. Please be sure he knows we're all still keeping he and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks for the update, Rob! It looks like our prayers are working!:thumbsup2

You can add my prayers to the list. Keep doing what you can to get that heart as healthy as possible. We want to see your posts here for a very long time! Please keep us updated.

Thanks for the update, it's good to know that Caskbilll is doing so well.

Just getting caught up on DIS info. We are definitely praying for you Caskbill! I hope things continue to improve.

When the chips are down you find out a lot about people. What I've read about Bill tells me that I wish I knew him better. Bill, your fighting spirit is an inspiration. Blessings to you.

Hello everyone!

I'm feeling quite a bit better, the meds are certainly helping. Still a little weak, but my breathing is greatly improved and I'm able to walk short distances.

Just wanted to hop on line quickly to say that I've read all your messages and want to give everyone a heartfelt Thank You for all your kind words and prayers. They have touched me deeply. I've always known our DIS DVC community was special, and all your well wishes have certainly shown that to be true.

We finally fly back to Indiana tomorrow, and it will be good to get home.

Again, thanks to all of you.
Bill

Rest in Peace BIll, you kindness will be greatly missed on the DisBoards.....

I just got a note from Caskbill's brother, dvc john.

John dropped Bill's car off at his home yesterday and commented that Bill felt better, looked better and the family was optimistic that he would continue to get better and be able to have the bypass soon.

Today, Bill suffered a massive heart attack and passed away this afternoon.

He truly appreciated the kind comments, best wishes and prayers from the DIS family that was so important to him. Bill's wife, 2 children, sister and brother (John) are all in shock. This was completely unexpected after the improvement shown in the past week.

I know I will cherish the time spent with him in person and the hours of communication here on the DIS. He was a special person.

I have no information yet about funeral arrangements, but will post that info once it is available.

I'm at a loss for words at this time.

We are shocked and saddened at the news, Doc. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill's family and friends; he will be missed. I lost my father to a heart attack, so this brings back those memories. I echo your words, Doc, "...I am a loss for words at this time."
We will miss you, Bill.

I'm stunned by this news and very sad. Bill was an amazing guy, so very smart and clever and generous with his time and his knowledge. My heart goes out to Peg and John and the rest of Bill's family.
