Casey, the In-Room TV DVC Hostess

I'm not a DVC member, but I thought you might answer a question I have.

When I was at WDW last year, in my hotel room there was a stand-up card on the little table next to the bed showing the TV channels available in the room. On the other side of the card there was a picture of a very cute blonde woman finding out about the "best kept Disney secret", which of course is Disney Vacation Club. Her name is Casey(I forgot her last name). She apparently hosts a program about DVC which runs continuously on a channel on the room TVs, much like Stacey's Top 7 Must-Sees. I didn't see this, since I was watching either Stacey or Disney Channel.

So have any of you DVCers ever watched this show with Casey, and if so, what do you think of her? Is she as perky as Stacey, or is she more laid back? Do you think she's cute? If so, I'd like to know.

She's not as over the top as stacey is. Which is good. The top 7 should be perky, DVC not so much.

I had forgotten Casey's last name.....no longer. Her full name is Casey Strand. As I said she is cute, even though her show is a very dry presentation.

I like her...but when my husband walks into the room and sees her on the tv he rolls his eyes, and says "Ugh...she's annoying".

I fall asleep when we are in Disney with that channel on and my husband gets mad because he has to wake up in the middle of the night and hear her voice.

We have actually met Casey. She was a a Disneyland Member event last year. My (then 5 year old) really likes her, and asked our guide (who was also there) if she could meet her. She came right out and took some photos with my daugher. She was very nice and spoke with us for a few moments before they pulled her away for some sort of filming event.

I LOVE Casey- she's just the right amount of perky/cute/goofy. And my husband thinks I am CRAZY that I watch her show over and over when we're there! I was actually sad when I was in HHI in August and her show wasn't on!

...one of the posters here some months back wrote that their daughter absolutely LOVES the other gal, Stacey, and wanted to know if she ever showed up at any meet-and-greets.

I thought that was so cute -- Stacey the Disney Character!

But I tend to agree with an earlier poster: she's too manic for me, and a little of her goes a long way. But I can see how a kid might love that.

Stacey has really grown up. The updated "must-sees" running currently on Disney TV shows a more mature, toned-down Stacey.

Loved the clips of Casey in the parks on her website.

In her filmography it says she was a guest star on the now-defunct sitcom Notes From the Underbelly. Seems Stacey was a guest star on that same show too! It really is a small world after all.

We've had the unfortunate experience of being at Disney while Casey was filming - twice. She was very full of her own importance and behaved like a CELEBRITY. I'm not a fan.

Well, someone on YouTube has put up the entire DVC 2012 DVD up. Miss Casey is there and she's as cute as ever! Search "disney vacation club 2012" and you should find it. It runs about 41 minutes.

My whole family loves watching Casey. Watching her videos is what sold us on DVC in the first place! The first thing my kids do when we walk into the room is look for the Disney Vacation Secrets Revealed show. Have not been do Disney World this year yet Is it still playing? Hope so.
