I think claiming that there was not a dead body in the trunk is insulting the common sense of the jury. Come on now - anyone who has ever had kids has found a bag of half eaten hamburgers in their car or a plate under their bed with an unidentified piece of food on it. Yes, it stinks but you remove it from the car or the room and air it out and go on with life. It does not still smell three years after the incident and you do not have to abandon the car at Amscot.

I heard one member of the Scott Peterson jury say that they listened to the expert witness testimony and took it into consideration but they used their own common sense.

My common sense tells me Casey was the last one seen with the child, she didn't tell anyone that the child accidentally drowned, she lied and lied about babysitters, etc. Then, she sat in jail over two years before she told anyone it was an accident.

Was it premeditated murder I do not know but I believe that whatever happened she is responsible for it occurring.

The most effective witness to date I feel has been Dr. G and I don't think we have heard the last from her.

OK this just makes absolutely no sense. So they are saying George disposed of the body, but they are also saying Kronk moved it, and I guess applied the duct tape? Where did Kronk get the body? What would be the point of moving the body? I guess since Kronk had George's duct tape, they were working together? I think their point in bringing Kronk up was that we could not trust the recovery site, their way of getting the duct tape out of the picture. But they haven't done that, yet, anyway. Or said anything about what role George played in this at all.

I hope the jury sees through this, it just does not make sense.

I know, I didn't get it either. This was so confusing me. I thought I was missing something, did they get to this part yet and address this? I don't know. :confused3:confused::sad2:

I like Casey Jordan's theory about it the best. Basically Casey wants to take the stand, the defense has realized this is not a good idea after seeing Ashton at work, Casey wants to do it anyway. They think she doesn't realize the full extent that this will harm her trial, so have her evaluated as it is a way for them to say look we told her this wasn't a good idea, she wanted to do it anyway, we are off the hook on this one.

I just heard that theory and agree that it's a good one! Let Casey dig herself her own grave! Hey - if she insists and they told her not a good idea, then their butts are covered for sure!

Totally agree with this! :thumbsup2

Yeah and helps do away with her being able to claim ineffective counsel.

I came into this trial on the late side and missed Cindy and George's earliest testimony. Did the prosecution ask Cindy, George and/or Lee about Casey's character at all? Things like "Is ICA truthful?"

I know that others were asked if she was a good mother ... but was her propensity to lie brought up? I know that tapes with Yuri Melich (I think) showed that she was lying about working at Universal, the Nanny, etc. and he pretty much talked about her lies in this tape.

They just played the jailhouse phone call with Cindy and Casey and Cindy calls her out as a liar and told her she wouldn't be in jail if she told the truth.

Did Casey change her shirt during lunch break?! Was the first one too whimsical and "fun"? Not serious enough for court?

In Session is replaying some of the tapes of ICA

With Yuri ICA states "I know my mother will never forgive me, I will never forgive myself."

From where I stand looks like mom sure did forgive her and we know she has no regrets herself at the murder, just at getting caught

I don't think she accidentally drowned, she could had call 911, is the normal thing to do in this cases. That is just an excuse. I still think she gave her chloroform so she could go to sleep and OD.

My kids leave food in the car all the time and it does smell bad, but not like a dead body, and Cindy knows it, she change her mind just to covered once again for Casey. No wonder Casey lies, everybody lies in that family.

There's something nasty in my kitchen, which I'm about to go deal with. Fridge or garbage. And there was a time when I'd say "Smells like something died in there"...no more! This guy is boring...good time to deal with it.

I also got a splinter from ripping out tile weeks ago, and am finally going to get it taken care of today after testimony.

Another Baez quote about his expert witness, "He's not saying he heard this at the bowling alley and is going to testify on it."

His smug arrogance makes me want to smack his face right off his head.

Well seems the defense won this one, but I bet Ashton is going to have fun with him on cross.

And The WINNER is - ME - since i had a baby

But the one who guessed closest without going of was

Did JBP just say "Thanks for telling the truth"? I was in the kitchen and missed it! Who did he say it to? The biochemist?

That is what normal people say. You would not say "smells like there's been a dead body in the...", unless of course, there had been!

I don't get the chloroform details here. Seem JA is really needing to push this issue, IMO, it just doesn't seem that important in light of all the other evidence.
