If I am not mistaken(I have been known to make mistakes and since there are so many facts to remember about this case, please forgive me if this turns out to be wrong.) the reason they did they DNA test on George and Lee is because they wanted to go ahead and rule out paternity JUST IN CASE it happened to be suspected later. I don't think anybody thought it to be true but in case the defense tried to claim it, they would already have results since they were doing other DNA test at the time.
I know Lee Anthony was tested after Casey said he acted inappropriate toward her and the paternity came back negative.
They were both ruled out. It's my understanding that the tests on Caylee and Casey, with George being Casey's father, ruled out George as Caylee's father.
I believe it came out when the FBI was DNA testing the skeletal remains to confirm if they were Caylee's. They had DNA from family members.
Here's a bit from an article:
"Then Baez brought up a request that she conduct a paternity test to determine if Casey’s brother Lee Anthony was Caylee’s father. Ashton objected to the question, claiming the defense was not asking it in good faith. After a sidebar, Judge Perry sent the jury out on their lunch break.
With the jury gone, the arguments continued. Seubert said she was asked to do paternity testing and read communications from special agent Nick Savage about it. Based on DNA samples, Lee Anthony was excluded as a possible father."
