The text that I got says
" court in recess until 9am Tuesday by joint stipulation between state, defense."

I wonder if they just have to give the jury a reason for the lack of testimony today and they are being read this agreed upon stipulation.

One of the reporters who is sitting with the other judge said the defense did not have any other witness's for the day. Talk about lying?

Oh man ... what is going on!?!?!? What the heck!? Well, at least I can get some work done today! (Boooooo!!!!!)

They're all saying this has to be very big to send the jury home. They're speculating that something significant must be going on. Especially to bring in the court reporter and deputy.

Just "home" as in back to the hotel for the day, right?

It does seem like a pretty big deal to call off court for the entire day.

Do the jurors get a copy of the witness list or do they just find out when the witness comes to testify? If they know beforehand, certainly the jurors can figure out the defense is having trouble. I would think if they knew the list, it might hurt the defense.

I dont think they get a list. But I guess it doesnt matter they know something is wrong.

i don't think the jury is told anything - it's not their concern as it doesn't impact their "job" - ticks them off i'll be but i guess that's part of being on a jury.

Yes back to the hotel. It is costing the court so much money. They get paid even if they do not testify.

LOL, I have to do major grocery shoppin' today about 45 minutes from home, I don't have to hurry now!

Yes. Sorry about that. They keep saying on the news that the jurors were sent home for the day, so by home, I'm sure they mean where ever they're being sequestered.

Sounds about right. They need to be told something, and that statement sounds matter-of-fact and impartial sounding, not blaming either side.

Someone on InSession said that there may have been an issue about the next witness's deposition too.

if i were baez i'd get all my ducks in a row with witnesses adn their depositions or he's going to have to give the court an unlimited credit card for all the fines he's going to be slapped with

Well I actually started cleaning out my file cabinet when the break happened! Now I guess I COULD go and finish it
