Casey Anthony TRIAL thread #2

Has anyone ever asked where Lee is during all this testimony? Georger and Cindy are in the court room every day, where is Lee?

Yes, and no he is not the father. It is very unusual to test relatives for paternity and I am very interested as to who DID request these tests. Caylee's father is unknown.

Hmmm...I googled this (watch out what you google :)) and found only Lee paternity information. There is a lot of speculation since the trail started about George.

No, he's not

Trying to get the abuse in a back handed fashion.

What's really stupid about this is even in the opening JB claimed Lee didn't get as far as his father regarding abuse - then claims poss. paternity. Just dumb

I was just telling my DH the same thing that lee didnt get as far as his dad did in the abuse so why do you need a paternity test? Baez is going to lose this jury really fast. Is the kidnapper coming in? I did not hear about the issue.

I think the State played it safe and didn't discuss anything that the defense could twist to their advantage. I think they are holding some evidence to use in rebuttal.

It's my understanding (and I could be wrong) that the DNA test was not to specifically include or exclude Lee...but that the results in fact DID exclude him or any other close relative. I thought that was the issue that Ashton had about the questioning...that Baez was saying that the test was done TO determine if Lee was the father. When, in fact, it just so happens the test DID exclude Lee and George.

Am I making any sense whatsoever??

I'm sure we understand, but Baez didn't. ;)

I am confused. I thought law enforcement did ask for paternity test regarding Lee. I think you have to test "against" someones DNA for paternity?? I thought there were suspicions about this overall very strangely behaved family.

Either the county or state...there was much public lynching type speculation that Lee was the dad (assuming Caylee was a combo of Casey and Lee's name). I had always assumed they agreed to do it to rule out paternity so the case would be focused on finding truth and eliminate the paternity distraction. If that was the case, I would think it would be easy for the state to call a rebuttal witness.

On In Session someone said that the juror that said she doesn't judge anyone, hasn't taken notes the entire time and today from the first minute she was sitting up, paying close attention and taking notes.

AND THERE YOU GO

looks like dippy asked someone for some legal advice during lunch and was told how to get the question in without objections

Ack! I cut out early before lunch was called to go to Publix and apparently I missed something!! What happened? When did it go from dull to "heated?"

Which I thought of after I posted. LOL But...if they took Casey's DNA to determine if the bones were in fact Caylee's, would the fact that George is Casey's father help determine if George or Lee was the father of Caylee?

That makes sense.
