Casey Anthony TRIAL thread #2

I am surprised that they havent come up with a way for that to be made known if something was printed. Is there anything in a printer that captures that info?

It depends on the printer. The large copier/printers you find in business offices often keep a copy of everything printed/copied. I don't think desktop printers have enough memory to hold that type of information beyond the initial printing.

After this trial someone may come up with something

Jurors want to go see X-Men and Hangover 2, apparently. DH and I went to see X-Men last night at the new Fork & Screen theater at DTD. Very good movie, and very good food!

Lesson to anyone thinking of committing a crime...learn how to clear your hard drive. :confused3

Everytime they show George Anthony, he looks so sad, dejected, and exhausted.

One of the commentators just said what I have been thinking. Who needs to search the internet to figure out how to kill a 3 year old? Not to be morbid but adults are stronger than 3 year old's and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to kill them. Maybe she was looking to get rid of her parents but I honestly don't think these searches had a thing to do with Caylee.
I'm starting to believe she was looking to kill her parents too. But I think she was looking for a way to kill her daughter so it wouldn't be pinned on her. Sure, anyone could kill a child...but if you're trying to do your best to get away with it, I'm sure there are better ways than others.

"Self-defense" made me think of that woman Darlie Lynn Routier, who claimed that someone broke into her house and killed 2 of her 3 sons; prosecutors claimed she killed her sons and had self-inflicted wounds. Maybe Casey was going to attempt to pull off something similar.
Has anyone else noticed that Baez has never said that Casey wasn't at the computer doing those searches? You would think that he would be saying to the witness "you don't know who made those searches, do you?"
I think he did. The guy answered "not without a webcam on them" or something like that.

Thanks for the :thumbsup2. DH wants to see X-Men, so we'll wait until our DD feels better.

How can I find out which reporters are in the courtroom tweeting what they see? I'm really interested in their jury observations. (I'm new to Twitter and still trying to figure it out.)

Found this....very interesting:
That was interesting. Didn't Casey also post a bunch of pictures of skulls after Caylee's death? Doesn't prove anything, but interesting.

Mackenzie Phillips (who said she was forced to have sex with her father)...a TV star ...is going to be on with Jane Valez Mitchell to weigh in on this case and whether SHE thinks what Casey claims about her father is true. Does anyone care what Mackenzie Phillips thinks? :confused3 I mean, she has a right to speak out, and I'm really just wondering if anyone thinks she can really give any insight to Casey Anthony and her accusations. :confused3

So we listened to this guy drone on all day so we could learn 4 things

1-Casey searched cloroform

2-Google basically told her she's an idiot and that she should've stayed in school and gave her the correct spelling which is Chloroform

3-She went to one chloroform site 84 times

4-Her computer takes anywhere from 2 seconds to 2 minutes to load pages

No. A former drug addict that probably can't remember 1/2 of what she did... doubtful.

You and me both. I have a ton to sort through. Plus, SOMETHING is slowing down my laptop...could it be Twitter?? I've given up on my laptop completely today.

I don't understand why Jose Baez would make up this weird "she drown in the grandparent's pool defense". First all the evidence points to choloform poisoning. If they are going for accidential death, why not use the evidence to your advantage?

And if he knew this for 3 years why prolong all this torment? :confused3

I'm waiting for them to talk about the syringe in the Gatorade bottle that had chloroform residue in it:

You know-it is painfully difficult to watch the trial on HLN on Comcast with all the commercials AND the 5 minute "shows" they have every half hour. It is crazy!

I am shocked that Baez did not attempt to assert any reasonable doubt that Casey could have done the searches. Even if she confesses she did them, it would require no lying on his part.

The 5pm show that is on HLN right now reminded me there is an IT guy on the jury. HOT DIGGITY DOG! He can certainly make some sense out of all this to the rest of the jury. That is a GOOD thing.

JVM also commented that it is possible that Casey researched these various topics to come up with a method of disguising a murder. One example she gave is that they were attacked and beaten and poor Caylee died. Just because Casey researches something and it ends up not being relevant to this case--is irrelevant.

I search a gazillion things on a regular basis---especially for trip planning. As a WHOLE--it shows that I was looking into or planning a trip. Even if I end up not doing a particular thing or staying at a particular location. Together it shows I was up to something. (that sentence sounds bad--I but you know what I mean. :))

Just because evidence does not show that Casey used these methods to off her child--as a grouping, it is indicative that someone had a heavy curiosity in harming someone for whatever reason. The fact that someone ended up being harmed in this family--is what shows that this was possibly research, however big or little into how harm could take place.

I have one request--and only because of the topic, I am not sure I would get to watch it as I will be out and would have to tivo and wouldn't be able to look at what was said....

Mackenzie Phillips will be on Issues with JVM. I am very interested in what she has to say. She was victimized by her dad (per her testimony) and her life was messed up as a result...she will be commenting on her opinion on whether or not the defense claim that Casey lies due to something happening has any merit from her observation. I will admit I only want her to say NO WAY JOSE (;))---but curious as to what opinions she does express.

It seems McKenzie only harmed herself. I would be surprised if during her recovery that she could come to the conclusion that she would be able to lie about physically harming other people as a result of her abuse in the manner that the defense is suggesting.

Anyway--if someone could be the eyes and ears and post about it, I Would be most forever grateful.

*sheepishly raising her hand*....

I posted....

But I Will admit, I only want her to tell me what I would agree with in this case.

So we've got the brain-fried drug addict's expertise about Casey coming up tonight. Good time to catch up with "The Little Couple."

Just a comment on HLN...George, Cindy and Lee all refused polygraphs. The only one they know of who DID take one was Jesse Grund. Personally, I'd hate to have to take one...I just think I've got the ol' Catholic guilt thing going on and in general "feel" guilty. LOL Not sure if that would skew things. My dad had to take a polygraph test once (passed with flying colors!) when he worked for a precious metals company, and there was a whole bunch missing. I was in HS and didn't get details, but I remember it was the first time he flew...to NY, for the test. Wish I had asked him more details about it when I had a chance.

I really really like Casey Jordan on InSession and HLN! She's my new favorite. Well, besides Vinnie Politan and Ryan Smith. :lovestruc
