I know, these damn jury slections are so crucial to a case 'n we got someone who really doesn't want to judge, she could change the entire deliberations.

I hope someone explained to her that she doesn't have to "judge" Casey, like to make a judgment if she's a good or bad person. Don't jurors just take the facts and decide it the evidence is enough to convict? I don't see that as judging anyone. The people who say she's a monster or she's a sweet girl, well that's judging.

Geez, it's not a "Black thing." I grew up with plenty of African American females who wouldn't have batted an eye at sending a baby killing mother to prison. Her unwillingness/hesitation to judge is not directly related to the color of her skin. I am certain of that.

I could not agree more. I really have a feeling she will be an issue and this will be a hung jury.

lets hope not...you just cannot tell with a jury..they are so hard to read....

I wonder if the dirt residue with the hair, is from the backyard? I asked a few pages back did they identify the hole where casey was digging and was that the same spot that the cadaver dog hit on.

Those deliberations are pretty explicit 'n gruellin' if need be, she's gonna have to judge whether Casey did the things the prosecution alleges 'n if it meets the definition of the crime. No way out really. I hope that juror isn't obstinate, she sounded very confirmed in her belief she wouldn't judge. I just wonder if she said that in hopes she wouldn't be chosen.
