oh geez, people can disagree all they want. it is interesting though some that have been posting (not necessarily on here) have no clue the real details that have been out there....and I gathered all your later posts are directed towards me.....

Your response to a poster was the trigger for my post, but my responses were not direct just toward you. Please don't take this personally.

Ims starting to believe that she wasn't put in the trunk right away. Maybe she hid the body somewhere and the day she went back , the same day she borrowed the shovel, is the day she put Caylee in the trunk.

Oh heck, I don't know but Caylee was obviously in the trunk sometime. Too many people noticed the odor, its the reason Casey left the car at Amscot.

Plausible theory--my question on the defense side is...was their any spot in the back yard that look "dug up"?

I do know that the spot where my kids play house is, that the ground is more "worn" and more dirt is exposed. But other than that, I am not positive if there is any evidence pointing to that possibility.

Investigators did move the playhouse and dig up that area though.

not at all.
they're talking about a garbage bag that was found in Casey's car in July 2008.

ok then i'm confused. because this guy is saying that he has smelt death before. is that just because Caylee was in the car for however long and the smell of her death just penetrated the fabrick and the bag is just a non issue or was something inside that bag?

if it's a non issue why are they on it for so long.

where was Caylee actually found? i don't remember ever hearing anything more then 12 or so blocks from CA's house

Like I said it is an observation. I am not going to bash or belittle anyone for the own ideas on here. I am just here discussing like anyone else.

I cant remember who posted the link for wesh, but thank you I dont have streaming issues with this.

And truth be told, Im not emotional about it, Im extremely intrigued. I hate to use the word fascinates about murder, but maybe amazed might be a better word.
Me to a T.
Especially this one, it's got some really bizarre aspects. ::yes::
That's the thing about this case. From Day One, or at least from the day one we heard about it, we have a mother admitting to her mother that her own daughter had been missing for THIRTY ONE DAYS and the mother yelling that her car smells like there's been a dead body in the car. Instant interest. Then, the lies...HUGE lies...walking down the hall in a building to your "office" when you don't actually work there...and the fascination how anyone could do that. Fascinated with the idea of...what did she think was going to happen when there WAS no office to go to? And it went on and on and on. Then bring on Jose Baez, and the inappropriate physical contact, and a whole slew of other wacky occurrences in this case. THAT'S what makes this case bigger. It's not a function of how heinous the crime was, or how many victims there were. It's probably more that she is so much like "us"...a seemingly average young woman acting so bizarrely that we just can't imagine.
I know everyone is saying June 16 is the day she died so why no odor in the car?
Is it possible she was over drugged, unconscious in the car trunk for days before she passed?
So the night she was driving around friends and on the stand they claimed no odor from the back seat maybe Caylee was still alive?
I think Caylee was in the playhouse, until Casey put her in the car. I'm not sure of the timeline of having her friends in the car.

Oh, I thought me. :) I'll let you take the fall tho. j/k
I do believe George, Cindy, Lee and Mallory all know the entire story. We know that George and Cindy lied to the gj......my take from george's testimony is that he is done, done and he isn't going to help Casey in any way.
I don't think they know. Well, I think MAYBE Lee knows. :confused3 Who knows! ;)
I do my best to respect the opinion of others.

However, just like if I present an opinion, but a fact can rebut that opinion, I appreciate when others post.

IF someone posts an opinion and I have a fact to rebut it, then I will post it.

We can all be entitled to our own opinions. But we aren't entitled to our own set of facts. People, myself included, should not get upset if there is a fact that may serve to "correct" someone's impression.

feralpeg posted some good links...there have been lots more over the years...sadly I have a wild crime obsession....I love w/s and all the crime shows....
in high school I was reading autobiographies of serial killers...my mom was worried!
The hillside stranglers fascinated me back then!

as I said before...if they ever searched my searches on my pc! yikes!!

can the defence make a case that because the car was out of the anthony's site for so long that smell could have come from anyone?

hahah typical.

just because you live around the corner from the impound lot doesn't mean they give you a courtasy call LOL

you are treated like everyone else -

I think the bag was just garbage that Casey put there to explain away the smell.

Are we back to talking about the trial? I had to wade through quite a bit of other stuff to find out what was going on with the case. :goodvibes

he thinks $500 for 5 or 6 days in an impound lot is expenseve? he better hope his car never ever gets towed in NYC or Toronto or any other very large city.

that many days here would cost you over 1000 bucks

my car was towed once because i parked in a no parking after xx time and didn't get back in time. 2 hours = $150

But HOW have these people been "cut slack"?
Casey and her family involved the media over a missing child. When her web of lies unraveled, of course people were going to naturally be more interested than in people who were caught pretty quickly and whose family doesn't mount a media campaign to interfere with the process.

Just because Casey is big news, doesn't make those cases any less important. But I don't see the media cheerleading those accused murderers.

I don't understand why folks get upset when one story tends to get more "airtime". Often it is blamed on superficial physical characteristics of those involved.

But in this case--the story was so outlandish.

I DISTINCTLY remember when I First heard the story and the amber alert. I remember thinking--"Why are they doing this NOW--31 days after she was missing? What good is THAT going to do?" Then, in the next day or so: "Why did she wait 31 days?"

And I initially "somewhat" believed the Zeneida story--until the web of lies was exposed...

This case has quite unique features that make it stand out. That is why it is big news. And once something becomes big news, then the news agencies have motivation of good ratings to make sure they cover it well.

Her case is simply not comparable to any you have cited. Even then, the news media wasn't providing their stamp of approval on any of those accused murderers.

(not an "attack" on your opinion--I am just stating how I see it differently. I realize that many people do not agree with how media chooses or does not choose to cover certain events.)

ok maybe i watch too many law shows - ncsi csi crminal minds etc but they never talk about how long smells last when a body is found in a car.

anyone know? is this something that would have vanished after a week or so or is the smell of death sooooooo strong it last weeks/months?

I agree.

Was the trash can fairly close to walk to and dump it? I cant remember how close tony said it was. If so why put the trash in the trunk and leave it there?

Hope so! I'm checking out for a few hours and will have a lot to wade through when I get back!
