anyone else watching the feed having it time out??

I don't think so. Sheriff Demings is saying that after this they hope to move on, get back to their jobs. Seems to me like this is their answer to the requests for interviews, etc. that take these people away from their jobs.

This is "free" and on local news.

Yep he said that all the people calling for interviews for the books they're writing will be denied. This press conference is to stop the calls so they can get back to the work they're supposed to be doing.

About a 2 year old strangled by her parents snake while they were sleeping, their trial is starting, they could be facing 35 years.

We were at Disney when that happened, we heard it on the news while eating breakfast, its funny because it was an June, when Caylee probably died, then we went back to Disney in December and of course we had heard about the case and we were there too when Caylee's body was found.

The snake case was horrible, poor baby!

I agree with everything you said. I thought he was arrogant and had a know-it-all attitude throughout the whole interview. The "decomp" really bothered me too and I couldn't stand how he kept trying to "drirect" the interview when he kept saying things like "and this might lead you to more questions..." and "...but we can discuss that later".

Isn't he the PE teacher? How does that make him an expert at reading people? :confused3 Sounds like the were way too fixated on George the whole time and it caused them to have Casey blinders.

Anyone know if it's true they paid him $75K for the interview?

Yes, he is a PE and Health teacher ... I also agree with you that he sounded arrogant and was trying to "lead" the interview - which tells me that is why he was elected as the "leader" of the jury too ...

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was paid $75K since he was the jury foreman ... but as far as I'm concerned, I think FOX could have used the $75K on a much better reason and cause ...

I saw the interview, and it only reinforced my low opinion of the jury. Apparently, JB's opening statements really stuck with them, never mind the fact that absolutely no evidence came forth in the trial itself. So there is another example of the jury not following the law, that statements made by the lawyers in opening statements are not evidence.

I agree with you on his use of "decomp" over and over. It's like he was trying to convince us that he was a forensics expert. This jury seemed to put way too much thought into meaningless and unproven things that the defense threw out there, and ignore the important and scientific evidence that the prosecution presented. And it sounds like common sense was thrown out the window. :sad2:

I wish Greta would have asked him some tough questions, and not the softballs that she tossed at him.

I seriously think that the juror going on the cruise played a big part in their not deliberating longer. I don't know which juror it was, or what his/her vote was in the beginning, but I believe it had something to do with their making such a hasty decision, one that they are even admitting they weren't comfortable with. And now a killer will walk free because of it.

Well, he did say that his profession made him "excellent in judging people" so I guess it must make him a forensic expert too ;) ...

I think Greta went soft on him too ... it was like she didn't even know what the evidence was so she couldn't question him more specifically about things ... she just let him ramble with his run-on sentences, which quite frankly, made it difficult to really comprehend what the heck he was saying ... I know Nancy Grace is getting criticized about her reporting of the case, etc., but I would really like to see her interview one of the jurors ... I think she would be the only one that would have the guts to ask the hard questions & be able to follow them up with the "evidence" that was presented ...

I also think the juror going on vacation played a role ... because if they hadn't come up with a verdict by the time he/she left on vacation, wouldn't they have had to start the deliberations all over again completely when the alternative juror was seated? ... I think that probably scared them or was in the back of their minds so they rushed ...

But in the end, maybe it was simply because this jury just bought into the defense's fairytale as soon as they heard it and just couldn't see through it or work passed it ... I also think that they just didn't understand the judge's instructions very well, however Mr. Know-it-all (juror #11) thought he did, and therefore, was very convincing to the others ... oh well, I suppose we're never really going to know the truth about anything in this case, are we? ...

I dont know about anyone else, but I am disturbed that they keep showing the defense winning. This is about Caylee not casey

Sheriff Demings says that despite public outrage over verdict, there have been no credible threats against Casey.

They will help faciliate her departure from Jail, but then then are done with her.

"We will not be her personal security service"

Thank you for the link, well I guess it would not surprise me if they were involved with it. I wonder if they paid Laura. I mean why else would tamper with a form with out a cause to do so. I wonder if Baez is very nervous over this? He is blaming everyone else.

Is there anywhere to see a video of Yuri questioning her?
