They are talking on HLN right now about a motion filed to show the video of December 11th 2008 when KC saw the news footage of the remains found and she freaked out!

I asked this same question 100 times why wasnt this shown in court... would have definitely proven against her that she in fact knew the body was there.

Answer from what I gathered was - Its inflammatory and may not have given her a fair trial?????

In my opinion, this should have been shown at the trial!

To Kurby- I read about your incident and it got me thinking.. since it was the weekend, this could have been a fill in nurse or travel nurse.

I had an experience similar when my husband was on a ventilator and had a tracheostomy. I was there every day for over a month and once on a sunday I came it to find the suction tube taped to his chest to suction fluids from his trach. This was pure laziness on the nurses part. Luckily he was heavily sedated since I was so pissed I ripped it off his chest and called for the nurse who was standing outside chatting w/ other nurses. To say she knew I was mad is an understatement. He had amazing nurses except on Sunday's and this was at Georgetown Hospital Center.

Jeesh she is a sociopath and as such she will do one of two things first she will try to charm them like she did with Tracey McLaughlin from Equisearch. She will be playing a part and I am sure she is feeling that hey I just outsmarted the state of Fla on a murder indictment this will be a walk in the park! Whether what is true or not makes not difference it is the reality in which she resides.

She will also try to use this somehow to her advantage.

I actually hope she does go into it with that attitude, because she will be crushed. Maybe she will even demand that the suit go to a jury trial, thinking she can beat the system again. Apparently, juries can rule much differently in a civil trial than they do in a criminal trial. And as someone else mentioned, she's not eligible for state assistance in paying her legal team in civil matters, so it will be interesting to see if Baez and Mason stick by her side.

I'm sure if the motion gets granted it will be all over the internet. Not sure how long it takes for the motion to go through but they said since the trial is over there is no reason for them not to show it now.

Who filed the motion? The state? If so I wonder if they will find something there to get her on. Not murder but something else, what other reason would you need to get it released for. Hmm...

HLN is now reporting that Ann Finnel is saying now that we really don't know what happened to caylee and they think Casey does not know. AND she said she thinks there are other players in this.

OMG are they kidding. What a travesty. JB said specifically at the trial. what had happened.

:scared1:Wait ... what!?!?

Ann Finnell says that she doesn't think Casey knows what happened to Caylee!?! :scared1: Is she freaking kidding me?! Unbelievable that they think Casey doesn't know!!!! :sad2: Seems like the whole defense team is drinking the Casey Kool-Aid!

This is just so flipping insane!!!! I am quite sure that Casey knows EXACTLY what happened to Caylee. How can they be so blind (or is it stupid)? :sad2:

HOLY MOLY!!!!!!! He said she was never missing, according to his client and she sat there shaking her head at her dad and saying yes he knows.. But in the interview with Tracy she told her she was the only one who knows what happend to Caylee, I knew Baez was lying about the whole thing. Amazing how you can come back and say something different. I hope the jurors now hears that and that he lied about the drowning.

Yep, it's frustrating. Apparently the "drowning" story they told at trial isn't good enough now, because it means Casey was aware that Caylee was dead and didn't report it. That makes her at least a tiny bit responsible, and we can't have that :rolleyes1

The new spin....um, I mean story...has to remove Casey from all responsibility. I'm guessing this is in preparation for any interviews Casey gives. They are rebuilding her image. Let me guess, George and Lee drowned Caylee and then framed Casey? Casey was a victim too, poor thing.

Also, I bet this will be Casey's defense against the States request for reimbursement of search\investigation funds. She will just claim she knew nothing at all.

I have no doubt that at least 12 people will believe her. :headache:

I was so angry I didnt think to rewind lol. But I almost forgot HLN is still being Tivo'ed so Im trying to catch it again.

-JVM said from Wesh TV a motion was filed... so I think HLN got the info from Wesh not that Wesh filed the motion.

I did find this on Wesh TV's website from a few days ago, but it didnt say who filed the motion either.

Also saw there is going to be a march on July 17th for Caylee because the community wants the focus to remain on her instead of ICA.

I'm sure the next time anybody on the DT has a case go to trial, they will beg the judge to pick a jury from Pinellas County. :sad2:

I was looking at the forms on the web sight where she is to go for depo. the forms for 09 has questions on there they were asking. I was wondering if they plan on the same questions. If so one of the questions is " How did Caylee die? " She can't lie. from what I understand she has to go by what her attorneys said in opening statements. Now they are retracting. so what story does she use now that Finnel is saying something different. Just as the law firm is trying to bring in the fact of LInda Bauden said on 48 hrs Zanny was a lie.

I read that, thank you. I was reading something I want to say it came from someone on the DT not sure of his name, he thinks the state might yet find something to hold her with yet.

Baez actually caught himself in his opening argument and backtracked about when the "drowning accident" occurred. If you recall, he said to the effect that "it could have happened in the morning or the afternoon" and then quickly said, "In fact, it was early morning." Well, if it were in fact early morning, why not just say that? I think as soon as he said "the afternoon", he realized his mistake and knew he had to change it to morning. That scenario wouldn't have worked because future testimony would have proven that George was at work in the afternoon.

As far as I'm concerned, the whole defense team knew from the get-go that it was a farce.

I remember that and thought you don't know what time? Your client provided you info. I am surprised that the jury didn't catch that. I hope these jurors are hearing this out of the DT now. they may be really sick now.

So the jury bought the drowning story and now the defense is saying it may not have even happened that way? Nice. :sad2:

I have to wonder if they are saying this to try and help her through the case the state is making against her for reimbursement? One assumes the state is going to say they wasted all this money looking for Caylee when Casey knew exactly what happened but now the defense can say she really doesn't know.

First they get away with making up stories during her murder trial and slandering her father and now they are going to change the story and she will get away with paying any money back. Yeah, that's going to go over well with restoring her image.

Just shows me that the defense is now trying to do some major "damage control" for Casey ... guess those big $$$$ deals/offers aren't coming in as they expected or as they all hoped ... Casey, Baez & his entire team makes me  and wanna ...

I definitely do recall him saying this ... and as soon as he did say it, I remember thinking to myself, hmmm, this guy sounds like he's making this all up as he goes along, doesn't it? ... :sad2:

Ding ding ding - give the girl a prize :) ... I think you hit it right on the nose ... :)

Isn't it too late for that because Baez said that this wasn't a missing child case in his opening statement. He blew it right there for Casey. Right? Please tell me that's right! I want her to pay for her lies!

I would love to tell you that but after seeing how the justice system has worked in this case, I just don't know. :sad2:

Who knew you could make up lies in your opening statement, not prove them, allow the jury to consider those lies while deliberating, and change your story again after the verdict was rendered?
