So you agree that George knows what happened, or that no matter what time ICA got home and found her daughter missing she should have reported it. You didn't believe anything George said on the stand - includng there was no accidental drowning he was aware of. Plus to put her to death based on the evidence was not warrented - they should have included lesser charges, too? Oh, and the the whole family was covering up an accident. Not to forget that no one really knows who was her caretaker and when she died in whose care?

Maybe no one agrees however, it could have happened-reasonable doubt.
Cindy is a shrew and I have zero problem believing that George would keep things from her if only as a means of his self protection.

All those are arguments used to defend the verdict from the jurors mouths.

We must have read and /or heard different words because from what I heard, they followed exactly the guidelines presented to them by Judge Perry.
If you can find anywhere in the trial testimony where any of the statements above were argued or put into evidence I would agree. I don't think you'll be able to because they are not part of the testimony or evidence ....they misunderstood not only the guidelines but also the friggin' testimony.

They inferred it could have been Kronk-muddying the waters.

The only Kronk theory I have ever heard from the defense was in regards to him dragging the body around town for months on end. The way CM is talking now, neither George nor Casey put Caylee in the woods to begin with. So now we are assuming Kronk came to read the meter, STOLE THE BODY FROM THE ANTHONY HOUSE, and dumped it in the woods?? :rotfl2:

Since Cindy has spent her life covering for Casey's lies from the first moment she breathed them and did so until June 2008 and opted to cover the tracks instead of just be freakin' honest...

we will never know.

Cindy and Casey's side will only address the fairy tale mentioned in court and we will now have a more detailed book than what Mackenzie Phillips had to offer. I bet Casey is reading that right now for inspiration for her tell all.

she's still covering for her. either Casey can do no wrong OR Cindy can't admit she raised a child who could or would lie about everything and anything.

either way it will continue until the day cindy dies

GA saw Casey & Caylee at 12:30 pm as they were heading out the door. Nobody saw Caylee after that. So, waking up, heading for the pool, and drowning in the morning with a pull up still on is an unlikely story.

Since it is Casey's word against George's, I don't think Casey was too concerned about George's version of the story.

Did anyone hear one of Caylee's great grandfathers interviewed recently? My mom (82) swears she saw a great grandfather interviewed and he was still convinced Casey did it. She assumed it was Cindy's dad because it looked like he was in a hospital/nursing home. My mom has some hearing issues though so I can't swear to this. Just curious if anyone saw it? If he did say this, I wonder if Cindy is estranged from him?

She put a pullup on the kid so she wouldn't mess up the trunk she stuck her in after she chloroformed her and duct taped her mouth so she wouldn't make any noise if she woke up while still in the trunk while mama partied on.

I'll tell you, actually, I wonder if she did that once and it worked so she did a couple more times until she accidentally overdosed the kid on the chloroform. Maybe one time she got back to the car and the child was awake, so she used more.

That's my theory. George had nothing to do with it.

As the prosecutors said, you don't need 3 pieces of duct tape, wrapped around the head, to keep a toddler quiet.

Snipped respectfully--BBM

Just wanted to say before anyone took this as fact that this is untrue. TES does not require you pay to join.

They do offer classes for you to become certified. But they in no way require you to pay to be a searcher.

I know this from personal experience
Thank you for pointing that out! Just another attempt of Cheney Mason's to disparage people and organizations.

Jean Casarez was a huge turn off AFTER the Cheney Mason's interview, speaking with Vinnie Politan. You could almost hear the violins playing while she spoke of his dedication to the Constitution, and how many times he said the Constitution. Yet, EVERYONE ELSE...the prosecutors, the police, the searchers, the experts, Casey's family and friends...was in it for money or "just hated" Casey because she was a lying slut. Mason, Baez, Sims, and team, and Casey...they're the truly good people, with the best of intentions.

I would tend to agree with you. I felt some pity for Cindy during parts of her testimony, but honestly, I don't think the apple fell far from the tree.

As with every single one of Casey's lie, there was an element of truth. I would imagine that will continue.

IF Casey wrote a book, there will be a thread here and/or Websleuths looking all over the Internet for the inspiration for each of her lies. :lmao: I can see it now...lie #1 is from someone else's book, lie #2 is from a movie, lie #3 is from a TV show, lie #4 is from..., etc.

Now where I have heard THAT before? Hhhmmm...methinks LisaR knows more than she's saying. :rolleyes1

She turned me off when she was chasing down Baez for a comment.

She said "I've been good."

I call that the Geraldo syndrome....cow-tow to the less popular side and score one of the first interviews. The fact she had to toss that in their suggests to me that her opinions expressed all along might have been for the express purpose of getting on their good side since that is the side that has Casey.

I'm having a hard time taking all this in. I feel like I've been consumed by it for weeks, and now this outcome is really upsetting to me. I keep going over and over all the possible things that could have happened, I guess looking for some sort of closure on the whole situation. Does anyone else feel really worn out over the all this?

Are we supposed to believe that "best case scenario" (what the defense wants us to believe) is that little Caylee fell into a pool and drowned on the 16th, her grandfather covered it up and threw the baby in a swamp, and that night (and for 30 more after that), her mom went out and rented movies, partied, got a tattoo and lived it up? :sad2: And that's because she was molested by her father, so she has no coping skills? Even someone who was "forced" into silence would grieve for their chid, wouldn't they? Was this some sort of bizarre, counter-reaction because of the supposed abuse?

What Casey did just goes so much against everything you feel as a mother,it's hard for me to wrap my head around ANY scenario that results in a dead child and a mom whi STILL acts like nothing happened.

Nancy Grace Exclusive tonight: Joining Nancy Grace this evening is a Psychologist who examined Casey Anthony at the request of her defense team. Dr. William Weitz weighs in on the recent Tot Mom not guilty verdict. Watch Nancy Grace tonight at 8PM ET on HLN

What can he possibly say without breaking patient confidentiality? I'm not watching. (Yeah, right. ;) Maybe not tonight tho...I'm weaning myself from this trial!)

MaryAnnDVC you are absolutely correct. I will probably read and comment on the threads as well...of course. Abolutely some crazy stuff would be in that book and for some phsycological reason I can never resist a train wreck thread no MATTER what.

Thanks all for the great thread, comments and observations. I enjoyed reading all sides and opinions, even if I didn't agree.

Apparently the jury thinks its reasonable...

He can weigh an opinion without giving anything away.

I would guess if he had ANYTHING of value to the defense, they would have used him instead of Chicken Soup lady.

UGH! Thanks Mare, now Im going to have to DVR this. Id managed to avoid Vinnie P and JVM today. Cold Turkey just isn't going to work, is it?

Caylee's Law should take into account not reporting for psychological reasons. It is a knee jerk reaction to pass such. So says CM.

Here's a thought...if for psychological reasons, you believe the law shouldn't apply to specific individuals...maybe those individuals with "psychological problems" shouldn't be given custody of children?

Welp, pretty much. I gues the DT and the Grief expert pretty much put that out there as exactly what 'allegedly' happened, since they didn't have to prove it.

But, as I read somewhere, saw posted somewhere, we can't just trust the legal system when it comes back with a verdict we all agree on, we have to trust it all the time. This time, that trust is a little harder to come by.

Oh, but Chicken Soup Lady was so much more amusing. I bet the jury enjoyed her. And she proved that everyone grieves differently...so there ya go!

Sorry about that! LOL

BTW...for anyone who didn't watch InSession today and the interview with Marble Mouth...his next case is defending a mother who is on trial for...murdering her child! How much you wanna bet she comes from a dysfunctional family! (Because only people who grew up in warm loving Father Knows Best and Donna Reed type families should be held responsible for murdering their children). Just had a thought...Casey could work for the defense team coming up with stories for opening statements! Because, as we all know, you can say anything in an opening statement, show no proof of it, tell the jury not to consider it...but they will anyway...and voila! Not guilty. Kind of like how J Peterman used Kramer's adventures for his book on Seinfeld. :)

I think Cindy can't handle losing her grand daughter AND her daughter for all time. That's why she lied.
