I have a hard time believing these 12 have much brain matter at all. I 6 of them thought manslaughter how and why were they so easily swayed.
Some think it's offensive to question the jury but to me it just as offensive to pretend they are thoughtful thinkers just because they sat on a jury
Somewhere a village is missing 12 of its idiots.

When exactly did they speak? They weren't supposed to be speaking about the trial AT ALL during the trial. Judge Perry made that VERY CLEAR each and every time they entered and left the courtroom. It seems quite clear that they didn't understand that simple instruction...no wonder they apparently didn't understand anything else. That one alternate said "we" this and "we" that...and was not part of the deliberations.
"Irregardless", the jury has spoken; as ignorant as they sound, the verdict is the verdict.
I missed what the beginning and they why but Richard Hornsby is saying that it takes 5 minutes to calculate all of this and he thinks all this is smoke and mirrors to appease the public.
Thank you for that. I needed a good laugh about now.

Ok my research turned this up
Final arrest for the check charges was September 2008. She pled guilty in January 2010. A total of 16 months in jail so she was given time served and probation.
She was arrested October 2008 for the murder charges. Up until this month she has served 2 years 9 months((35 months))
Today she was sentenced to 4 years for the lies.
48 months for todays sentence minus 35 months she's already done leaves a difference of 13 months.
I read that "gain time" is equal to 12 days per month. So if that's true that means that she has 576 days coming to her---So 1 year and 7 months time off for good behavior
13 months equals roughly 395 days//////576 for good behavior----Means she's out today
yep because hhbp did the math i did and knew she was as free as a bird so he choose to send an email to let the public know versus saying it in open court which would've caused a riot.
This way they can sneak her out and noone is the wiser
my math is below.

According to an eyewitness who was in the courtroom this morning sitting in front of CA, she noticed that CA was smiling frequently while GA was sitting stoicly as usally ... and when CA left the courtroom she looked back at Casey and kept smiling at her but Casey wouldn't look back at either CA or GA ...
I wonder if CA was smiling because she was happy that Casey isn't going to be released today or because she's already trying to repair their broken relationship & letting Casey know that "mommy's still here for you sweetheart & all is forgiven"... I'm sorry, but dysfunctional doesn't even begin to describe this family, IMO ...

I believed, the lies were felonies. I was surprised, that wasn't the case. Now, it's being reported, they could have been charged, as felonies. She lied in a case, where possible charges, were a capital offense. This makes her false statements, felonies in the state of Florida. The prosecution chose to charge her with misdemeanors.

ETA: CA also commented to GA & her lawyer that "Casey looks so beautiful today" ... and it was also overheard that LA has a new attorney ...
Don't forget that we saw a lot more of what was going on in the courtroom than the jury. I remember just one morning where they were called out for over three hours, they did not see and hear everything we did.
Again, I think she was guilty, but I'm remembering "To Kill a Mockingbird" and hope that mob mentality and vigilante justice do not taint the memory of Caylee. I think Karma, or someone higher (whatever/whoever you believe in) will eventually catch up to her. Where is OJ now??
Isn't the sentencing public? Doesn't CA have to be in court for the sentencing?
I agree. It wouldn't take long to figure this out. They want us to think that the judge really worked on this and it wasn't a kneejerk reaction to just release her immediately. My guess ... JBP would rather have a leisurly brunch with prosecution and defense and pretend to hack this out.
