Casey Anthony Civil Trials Discussion

Maybe Lee is just the smart one in the family and laying low. Is THIS interview with the Anthony's going to be the end of them in the public eye? :confused3 Wonder what kind of wedding Lee and Mallory will have and if Casey will be there.

Well, of course! After all, Mallory was so impressed with the incredible bond between Casey and Caylee... :sad2:

Well, there ya go. Surely she would let Casey babysit. Casey knows all about nannies. ::yes:: And didn't Cindy say in the interview that Casey has learned her lesson (What?..."Don't kill children...you can go to jail!") or some such ridiculous thing?

This is still irking me from when Bozo was on The View...that he said that it was a Monday afternoon when Caylee died, so George's idea that Casey drugged Caylee to "party" doesn't make sense, since there's nothing to do in Orlando on a Monday afternoon (except watch a movie after murdering your child). He said in his opening statements that it was early morning, afternoon, no early morning, the exact time is not known. WHY NOT? No one is denying that Casey WAS there, so she knows when it happened. So why not say it? I think it was a slip up when he said "afternoon" on The View. I think that he said all that confusing stuff in the opening statements because A) he's a moron, B) if he specified a time, the prosecution might come back with proof that George was NOT home at that specific time, and C) he's a moron. (I said that twice because it's my favorite. :))

If my memory is correct from reading a timeline; Caylee was last seen with Casey coming out of a store around 10 or 11 in the morning and then Casey was seen with her boyfriend at the video store that night without Caylee. There was a few hours unaccounted for where Casey had plenty of time to do something to Caylee.

I think the time of death centers around the multiple unanswered calls to Cindy.

But then how did Caylee die? Do you think Casey would've drugged and/or chloroformed her during the day and OD'd her? Or do you think it's possible that Casey intentionally drowned Caylee? Or do you think that Caylee did wander into that pool and drowned and Casey discovered her and hid it all?

I think the time of death was in the afternoon, after George went to work and somewhere around the time Casey was making those phone calls to Cindy...before killing Caylee, to get Cindy to watch her so she could get together with Tony (maybe after the fight the night before, Cindy was refusing to answer Casey's calls, and Casey knew that and was furious and killed Caylee :confused3). But that's what I'm saying...Baez said on The View that Caylee died that Monday afternoon...which I believe...but during opening statements, he was all over the place, sort of settling on "early morning" but "the exact time is unknown". :confused3 Baez seemed pretty damn sure of the approximate time on The View.

This is what I think too. I think all those calls were a sign of KC's rage. She was getting angry. That's how I see it anyway. I think she might have actually drugged Caylee that night to be with TL and found her dead in the morning. :confused3

Yup. :thumbsup2

I can tell you guys don't live in Pinellas County. :goodvibes

I believe she died in the afternoon. If Casey told Baez anything it would have been a certain time and he wouldnt be all over the place about the time. I think Cassey was ticking time bomb for a long time. I am sure this idea was running through her mind for a long time.

Learned her lesson??? What a bizarre statement to make.

You can tell from the bolding where my inclinations lie... :rolleyes1

I can see it either way. She may have done something to her and then panicked (immediately trying to get in touch with the one who had always covered for her before). Or she may have gotten a call from Tony wanting to get together (and we know who was at the top of her priority list). I just don't know, but I do believe she died at the hands of her mother.

That's really what I've always leaned toward.

MTE! I think she was calling Cindy to babysiit and Cindy wasn't answering so Casey had to do what she usually did ... drug Caylee.

IIRC, there was video footage of Casey and Caylee coming out of the store. I seem to remember that there were witnesses or maybe the tape showed that Casey and Caylee were not happy. That you could tell that Casey was upset and that Caylee was a few feet behind her. I wonder if Caylee was having a cranky day and Casey drugged her for naptime. And that's when the OD happened.

Very possible.

For some reason, I still don't believe that Casey was drugging Caylee. I do believe she may have drugged her that fateful day but I don't think it was a regular occurrence.

A small part of me even believes that it could have been accidental. I think Casey was beyond pissed at Cindy for the fighting that took place the night before/morning of. Caylee could have gotten on Casey's last nerve and she got too rough with her - throwing her against a wall, holding her hand over her mouth for too long, etc. Or, this could have been when she drugged her to shut her up. Seeing what she had done, she called Cindy in a panic. When Cindy didn't answer, Casey was even more pissed and did an "I'll show you" type thing by tossing Caylee in the woods and creating a story.

I have no clue what really happened. I do believe that if Cindy would have answered one of those phone calls that day, we may have a whole different story on our hands. I think this is part of the reason Cindy defends Casey as much as she does. Cindy feels that she set Casey off with the arguing and she made things worse by not answering her phone. Instead of making Casey take personal responsibility, Cindy feels too much guilt so she makes excuse after excuse for her.
